Speed boating on Lake Powell

Speed boating on Lake Powell - the best fun !!! See the lake at your own speed - FAST!!! or lazy - they both work for me.

Even lake is man made, sight seeing is amazing a specially if you know where you want to go. Do your research before you go. I just can't wait to go back.

If you want to have a truly breathtaking experience go to Lake Powell AZ. My son (20) and I rented a jet ski from H2OZone Lake Powell Rentals and Repairs at half the price of those on the lake and spent an incredible afternoon on the lake. You can spend weeks, probably months there and not see everything, but in... More

In late June we rented a 19' bowrider powerboat from the Wawheap Marina on Lake Powell. We had a fantastic time in the 106 degree heat! I would recommend renting from this marina as everything worked out very well. I'd suggest you try to go early and take care of the paperwork if possible b/c there's a lot of it.... More

We have a houseboat trip planned in August that has been booked and paid in full in October with no refunds allowed! Our long awaited family vacation is just weeks away. The reason I want to get my message out is the fact that I have been receiving multiple discounted offers for the sametime that we will be vacationing. We... More

Recently (end of May through mid-June) took a jaunt through Utah/Az/Utah/Az/Utah - jeez, I don't know. One minute you're in UT, the next AZ, at Lake Powell. Anyway, first few nights of the trip stayed at the Wahweep campground. Beautiful, clean, full hookups. Great beginning of a 15-day sojourn to explore Utah's many national parks and monuments. As it turns... More

For the open air, gorgeous scenery and the overall experience of the great outdoors on the water, Lake Powell cannot be beat! You must rent a house boat to get the full experience. It can be expansive but share the cost with another family or two! Its soooo worth it!

Took morning boat trip through Antelope Canyon and another. Very interesting and impressive. Boat was good but on board commentator interupted taped tour guide. Second tour to Rainbow Bridge included missed tapes from first trip and the message was very informative. SHould let it play. Especially since message is multilingual and many on board could not understand ship's commentator. Trip... More

There was a landslide detour, so it was about a six hour drive from Phoenix but well worth the road time. Enter through the National Park Service (fee) entrance or we rented a boat at the Antelope Point Marina. By water, the canyon walls are 500 feet high with visible Indian ruins, red rock cliffs and blue/green water. Campers and... More

I've lived in Utah for 25 years and had never been to Lake Powell. We found a good deal on a house boat rental through Travelzoo. We went the week before Memorial day so it was very quiet on the lake. My husband was really nervous about piloting a house boat so we went up two days in advance and... More
