With a group of 12 and crew of 5 we were treated like very special guests. They had six double kayaks that they could hoist into the water and get us on the water efficiently and safely with a couple naturalist guides. They were great at spotting Alaskan wildlife and keeping us comfortable. They would get us back on the Sea Wolf boat after a hike or a paddle and serve us creative appetizers, fresh baked cookies or a meal of scrumptious seafood. They had an experienced chef who kept us happy throughout the week. Our captain kept check on the weather and would adjust our route if squalls or icebergs were up a particular fjord. We were able to get up close and personal with calving glaciers and being on the Sea Wolf meant we were able to move all over Glacier Bay and see all sorts of terrain in this beautiful National Park. All of the crew was knowledgeable and friendly with Alaskan history, geology and biology. It was a highlight of my well-travelled life.…

Our group was a group of NW kayakers and of course we loved the kayaking and the comfort of being on the Sea Wolf! All of the crew were always there to help us have the best trip. The scenery was beautiful, the boat very comfortable and the meals more than delicious. I am so glad we did this trip! It is definitely one of my favorite adventures.…

Get comfortable. We have explored Glacier Bay with these people three times over 18 years. Life. Changing. We've entrusted the safety of our boys to their experience, and hope to do the same with grandkids someday. This is the REAL Alaska, up close and personal, not 10 stories up, dressed for dinner with 4000 (or even 40) of your closest cruise ship friends. There are other small-ISH boats out there who advertise (Lindblad, etc), and while smaller than the giant cruise ships, still nothing like the Sea Wolf experience. This is an intimate experience, where you make once-in-a-lifetime memories, expand your horizons, make lasting connections, and leave with a lump in your throat and a dream to come back. This is an amazing, expedition vessel that provides safe wilderness adventures to a maximum of 12 passengers with a crew of 5. Nat'l Geographic has chartered this vessel for their photographers, because it can go where big boats can’t…ditto for a few high-vis celebs who crave the privacy of a remote setting. Hiking, kayaking (we're mediocre, but enthusiastic), wildlife viewing and wilderness scenery like you can't believe. The Sea Wolf has also won national awards for wilderness accessibility. They don't need to advertise and fill up fast. You just kind of have to know about them. We like that. The crew are highly-educated, trained professionals certified in their respective fields, including wilderness first-responder certification. And FUN...feels like family. Small, but clean, comfortable en suites, with a gourmet chef who crafts delicious and healthy meals with the highest quality, locally-sourced ingredients. Special dietary needs are beautifully accommodated as well. The owner & crazy-knowledgeable naturalist guide, Kimber Owen, even grows all the organic, hydroponic produce in her own garden. We would follow her anywhere. (and have, haha!) We just got back from our last Sea Wolf excursion, and are already making plans to return. Would go every year, if we could. If you want a floating hotel, this is not for you. If you want a custom experience that few have, where you can be well cared for, eat like kings and that makes you feel young and alive, this is it! Happy adventuring!…

The Sea Wolf and ALL her crew provided us with an experience we will never forget. The guides Monika and Julie were so knowledgeable and we always felt well cared for. Everyday was a learning experience and was packed with adventure. The food was outstanding, Aleah is a Chef Extrodanaire-home made bread , fabulous meals and plentiful. Keith and Richard took us through Glaier Bay-smooth as can be. Our trip ended with us feeling passionate about Glacier Bay, Alaska and all its beauty- thank you for giving this to us. …

Cruising Glacier Bay on the Sea Wolf was an incredible experience! The beautiful boat is a perfect size for getting into bays and inlets that the cruise ships miss entirely. It's spacious and comfortable with lots of windows and deck space for taking advantage of the amazing views. The cabins may be on the small side but they have private bathrooms and good storage space. The crew of five could not have been more accommodating and friendly. They looked out for every detail to make the trip safe, comfortable, and fun. Plus, the two naturalists enthusiastically kept us informed about what we were seeing. I loved hiking and kayaking every day and couldn't believe how much wildlife we saw. Meals were over-the-top delicious...huge breakfasts, fantastic soups and salads, and beautifully prepared dinners including local crab and salmon. I'm thrilled with the great photos I took, but they don't really do justice to the awesomeness of the scenery. An unforgettable trip!!!…
