Friends came from up state New York and rented two cabins. These cabins are very nice and the price was very reasonable. Not a huge kitchen, but it is a cabin after all. The actual park part is limited in the amount of activities available. It is a nice area.

Beautiful wooded park for hiking and biking. Would rate excellent if not for the proximity of rail traffic that detracts from the "wilderness" experience. Primitive campsites, RV parking, and rental cabins are available. Parks department handles reservations. This park is enjoyable all years longer!

Nice woods, great hiking, awesome park and toys for the kids to play on. If you want to spend the day, have a picnic, or go hiking, this is the place.

This park is huge and has lots of areas for small children to play. There are large open areas as well. I noticed they have also made it more handicap accessible with ramps and play equipment. I felt comfortable going with my husband and kids but would not go without him because we had no cell phone signal once we... More

If you like wooded trails, here ya ago...the trails go way back in the woods and in a hilly setting along side the Wabash river on the north side of Vincennes, there are shelter houses and lots of playground equipment plus really nice cabins you can rent. for an added bonus there is a campground with RV hookups and primitive... A very nice park on the outskirts of Vincennes, IN. It cost us $25 for the night and included a bundle of wood for a fire. The host was very helpful, as we showed up without a reservation. You can hear trains blowing their whistles during the night, but they are not right on top of you. Although many of... More

This campground is very noisy at night. Trains pass by and traffic from the highway can be heard. Okay for an overnight or two but I would check out Kimmel County Park on the Wabash River in town first. $20 per night for electricity and water.

We are camping two nights in a big rig and I wish we could stay longer. When we first arrived we were concerned about having any sites big enough for us, but the cohost stayed with us until we were happy and settled. On the days we were here,The park was very quiet and peaceful. They have rolling terrain and... More

A nice campground to use while seeing the sights in and around Vincennes, Indiana. Conveniently located near US 50 and US 41. Has electric and water at sites. Dump station available.
