There are only two Flea Market events left. One of course is in DUMBO on Sundays during the summer and a new one in SOHO on Saturday and Sunday. We went to the new venue in SOHO this time. It's at 100 Avenue of the Americas. For New Yorkers it's 6th Ave at Grand Street. It's open from 10 am-6 pm those two days I believe. It's all inside and not really that large. I am partial to the one in DUMBO and the now defunct one in Fort Greene. We were there 20-25 minutes at the most. Don't get me wrong there's some interesting things there but nothing we hadn't already bought or nothing we truly ad to have. There are several subway lines you can take to get there-the 6th Ave F or D train. We came from Midtown on the R local and walked down from Prince Street admiring the beautiful SOHO architecture. You could get off at Canal Street and walk up to it. Hey, you are close to Chinatown so why not grab a bite to eat before or after you shop.

As a gal who adores a good flea market, this was a gem! Went with a fellow flea lover who had been wanting to check it out. Win win, there's a bar! Place was busy on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, lots of eclectic items and plenty of food choices as well. Found some cool collectible vintage telephone trinkets for my husband and would have bought more stuff if I didn't have to fly cross country to get it home. Great spot, I would absolutely come back!

Really great market, had some great coffee and 'Dough' donut which was great, highlight was the 'Dans parents house' stand, dude was awesome and was our kind of place. One of our favourite stops in our nyc visit!

Brooklyn Flea is not like any normal flea market. Relatively easy to get to from NYC and I saw a lot of antiques from vendors that I definitely wanted. However, the prices were too high for me and unfortunately only a great place to sight see and people watch.

Great location under the Manhattan bridge, with lovely views over the east river and over to the Brooklyn bridge - but the stalls were nothing special and everything was super-expensive

This is a lovely flea market with a mix of new and old treasures. You can find anything from toys, to shoes, from books to furniture. You can spend some lovely hours there digging for treasures.

We stumbled on the Brooklyn Flea's Dumbo location after venturing over the Brooklyn Bridge on a Sunday afternoon on a 5 day break in New York with family. Great way to spend a lazy Sunday! The market was set up in the arches directly under the Manhattan Bridge and was soundtracked by the rumble of trains every few minutes. Great selection of stalls, particularly good for vintage maps/posters and antiques. The food stalls were excellent, we tried the Big Mozz white pie pizza (amazing) and brownie ice cream sandwiches. The Lighthouse bar served wine and a couple of craft ales. Definitely worth crossing the Bridge to visit!

Ya gotta' love the ambiance of any flea market any place in the world! The indoor market offered refuge from the -4 degree weather with wind chill to -24. It was warm inside and offered loads of "collectibles" and junk. Loved it for its variety and for its shop holders. All interesting.

Average flea market finds. If you are in the area worth stopping by. But not special enough to make an extra trip.

One of my favorite "go to" Saturday morning stops. Art, Jewerly, Furniture, Silver, Gold, Schulpture, etc.
