Empire Fulton Ferry State Park is a beautiful park alongside the East River in Brooklyn. The view of the 2 bridges and Manhattan is spectacular no matter what time of day. There is a walkway going all along the coast of Brooklyn along pebble beach, and Brooklyn bridge park. I highly recommend.

I want to catch the ferry from here someday, but meanwhile, it was a perfect place for me to snap some photos of the Manhattan skyline and the bridges to post on FB. On a clear day the views are gorgeous. And lots of people love this park area.

The park is closed from 1 AM-6AM, but I went in at about 5:45 AM to take sunrise photos.
The view from this park provides for photos of lower Manhattan with the Brooklyn Bridge in your foreground. I brought a tripod and cable release. It worked out well.
There is also a Merry-Go-Round in the park enclosed in a glass building.
I saw several early morning joggers in the park but no one else.
Small park with current construction underway.

The EmpireFulton Ferry State Park provides great views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge and The New York Skyline.
We visited at 09:30 and there were only a few other people around, which made it a very relaxing experience in the heart of the city before we walked across Brooklyn Bridge.
Its a free activity that is well worth doing.

This small park has a great view of the Brooklyn Bridge, the Manhattan Bridge, and part of the Manhattan skyline. It is quite good for a short stroll or photography. During the evenings when the Manhattan skyline lights up, it becomes a romantic spot.

Very cool park. There is a merry-go-round that is open every day but Tuesday until 7pm. The park is located right between the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges with great views of lower Manhattan.

We stumbled across this spot & stopped for a good hour, grabbed a drink from the lively modern riverside bar & sat and took in the view. Great photo op of the bridge.

In this part of Brooklyn where you'll see the beautiful view of Manhattan. Morning jog is perfect here and sunset moments is just perfect as you'll see the skyscrapers with their lights on. A perfect Big Apple moments!

We didn't come here to intentionally go to this park but it was a nice surprise after lunch. It is located just outside the West Elm store on the corner of Main St. and Plymouth St. Easy access and a great walk along the water. I loved the views of the bridge and the city. Would be great to visit at different times of day to get the many changing views.
