Misleading locations!!!
Feb 2020 • Solo
Google map stated 2 different location. First, I went to the one on 90 Kent avenue and it’s closed. Understood, it’s winter. So after that I went to the 8th floor Kent avenue and food is literally next to nil. Looking for lobster rolls, fried chicken etc and was disappointed with the food options. So, I thought there might be a different smorgasburg event. True enough, a winter smorgasburg address popped up. This time, it’s 625 Atlantic ave. so I decided to head there seeing lobsters and oysterbk in the photos. Excited when I arrived and was told by people on the street they use to be there but closed for the season. It’s WRITTEN WINTER SMORGASBURG MARKET. All in all, I spent about $50 in Uber fees and couldn’t get a bite! You could at least update your details and location on google.. very disappointing! Came all the way from Australia for this. Never again. Tourists, stay away if you don’t want to waste your day chasing them around!

Amazing!
Aug 2019
Amazing! You have to go! An enormous selection of food stands and each one is different from the next. Easy to get to and very reasonably priced. It can get crowded but you'll never wait for more than a few minutes in line for food (except for a few different stands). If you're looking for a very unique Brooklyn experience this is the place to visit!

Foodie heaven
May 2019
If you are a foodie and in the area this is definitely for you !! My only advice would be go on an empty stomach - my biggest problem was what to eat. I wanted it all
There is sooo much to choose from - chips, momos, lobster rolls ( the best ever), drinks, noodles, ramen, amazing desserts, oysters, ice cream sandwiches etc etc.
A MUST VISIT !!!

We attended on a sunny, cool day in October. Very tasty food. Nice vibe. Then we had a saunter down Bedford for more touristing.

Guilty pleasure eating with a fantastic view
Oct 2019
Metro to Williamsburg - seasonal, only on weekends - TRY THE CREME BROULEE! Fantastic view of the Manhattan skyline.
Plethora of foods to try - approx $5-8 per portion, selection includes BBQ steaks/chicken, kebabs, donuts, rolled ice cream, sushi, chinese dumplings, seafood and lots more.. buy your food and hunt down a picnic table or sit on the grass.

We all love FOOD
Oct 2019
Have been seen Smorgasburg Instagram pages for months until I finally was able to fly to NY and go... WOW that awesome! and it was a NY Times Food Festival as well. I tried so many things from ice cream, dumplings, beer; its an all sweet and salty experience for your taste buds. Just bring your camera some friends and/or family and eat all day long!!

Crowded with loads of food
Oct 2019 • Friends
Highly anticipated visit was met with loads and loads of food with swarms of people. The food stalls were plentiful but the lines were long and prices quite expensive. Still worth a visit and great views of the NYC skyline.

Fun place for food, if the weather is good
Oct 2019
went on a fine sunny day and this was a good place to see a different side to NYC. Lots of food choices (inc vegan) and some stalls took card/Apple Pay. Worth looking around for the bargain stalls though, as some are a bit pricey.

Unique Food Experience!
Oct 2019 • Friends
We checked this place out after being totally disappointed with the Brooklyn Flea across the street. There are so many unique food options to choose from. It's impossible to try out every food vendor so you'll probably have to come back a few more times. We had everything from delicious fried mozzarella sticks, stuffed squid, amazing brownie ice cream sandwiches, nutella ring dings, arepas stuffed with delicious fillings and fried anchovies! There is also a wine and beer garden!
There are many places to sit with amazing views of manhattan. There is also a free water station where you can fill up your cup and there are public porta pottys if your desperate.
This place is not cheap but the food is good and none of us got food poisoning. Would definitely come back.

There is free street parking in the area on North 7th Street, and also on Kent Avenue where the Smorgasburg is held. If you can't find free parking there are some garages in the area, You can do a search engine search for 'Williamsburg Smorgasburg - Saturday Parking' you will see a map of the area where the event is held and where the parking garages or lots are located.

I’m visiting Smorgasburg in July, do the vendors only take cash? Was wanting to put it all on one credit card... would like to try a lot of vendors.
