My family and I took the 12 mile Brooklyn tour, which lasted about 4 and 1/2 hours. You do get to stop twice. Once for a coffee break and then for lunch. The coffee place was great, the lunch place was way over priced, even for New York and what you pay is not included in the tour price. The tour itself was great, but anyone who is not very comfortable in traffic is advised not to take this tour, as you will be in traffic 90% of the time. Jackie the tour leader was excellent at keeping the group together and providing insight to the people and places that we saw and passed.

I’ve done a number of these tours in various cities with my teenage daughter. Really great activity. You get a modest amount of exercise, get to see more of a city than riding on a bus or walking, and we both have a good time. Specific to this tour, you wear earpieces so the guide can talk to you while riding. That worked pretty well and let him point things out without constantly stopping. James was fun and knowledgeable.

My sister and I signed up for the Brooklyn Waterfront tour to celebrate my birthday, and it ended up being the highlight of our trip to NY! It was such a different way to experience the city and surrounding areas, and a great way to slow down and actually have time to enjoy the view. We ended up having basically a private tour as our other "tour-mates" bailed last minute. Riding the bike was easy and we stayed at a comfortable pace. Our guide, Jim, was funny and knowledgeable and patient with us, even taking pics for us when we wanted to stop. The only downside was that the communication system (walkie talkie and earbuds) did not work all the time, therefore some of the communication was missed. The walkie talkie would benefit from some kind of a wind shield! I would definitely recommend this tour and I would for sure do it again if I was in the area in the future. So fun! Thanks Jim!

My wife and I did the Brooklyn tour with Nadav, an amazing tour guide. To see Brooklyn this way was beyond great. Nadav was full of knowledge, it’s obvious he loves Brooklyn. The stops are perfectly spaced out. You don’t need to be an experienced cyclist but I would suggest you are confident on a bike. We will definitely book again, next time to see another part of New York!

We had a great time with Blake riding around Brooklyn, seeing and learning about everything. The cycling only thing that detracted from the bike tour format for us, was that we found we had to focus a lot on things like staying on the paths, not riding into each other, and navigating the road and pedestrian traffic - so it did mean that we couldn't always take in the sights fully.
