I recently got married, and we stayed at the Comfort Inn in Sheepshead Bay. Nice location, some parking available, a decent full breakfast, good restaurants nearby.

Sheepshead bay, named after a fish, is a lazy mini fishing village completely different than any other part of Brooklyn. Complete with fishing boats, party boats and sailboats, sheepshead bay is a delight to walk through day and night. Restaurants and clubs line Emmons Avenue....More

\This area has always been a melting pot for immigrants on the way up, I have been told. Well now, I enjoyed a fantastic lunch Belarussian restaurant and dinner at a Dongan(muslim chinese Kazakh) restaurant. So things do change and get more interesting.

I had a great time in Sheepshead Bay. We saw old friends and made new ones. Had good food and drink. Weather was great. Had the usual at Rollin Roaster. Turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce. Love that place.

We came on a fishing charter boat but the area is great. This is a gem of a neighborhood where you can walk by the water.

This is a quiet, safe residential neighborhood on the water. A mix of single family, multi family, and apartment homes. Great attractions, shopping, and restaurants. Very expensive real estate in this neighborhood. My barber lives here and loves it.

If you'll come by 6-6:30pm, you may find a parking spot right on Emmons Ave a block or two from the pier (may have to circle a little) or side streets there and enjoy a walk or even a drink at a nearby bar until boarding... More
