When you come here you will see lots of fishing and other sailing ships throughout the bay. Also many stores near by.

This is mainly a residential area but easy to idle away a couple of hours walking around the bay, across the blue bridge to Manhattan Beach (Brooklyn). Cafes, Russian restaurants, some interesting mosaics around the subway station and pay your respects at the small Holocaust memorial. Well known local eateries like Randazzo’s Clam Bar on Emmons Avenue. More bungalows than brownstones but this is an interesting area of Brooklyn. Real New York.

Great neighborhood for an afternoon or evening walk any time of the year. You can stroll over the wooden Ocean Avenue Bridge to Manhattan Beach to continue your walk or visit one of the many local classics such as Randazzos or Roll N Rooster for a lunch or dinner. Great to combine a visit here with a visit to Coney Island, which is nearby.

First of all shout out to the crew. They were so attentive, especially with to my 7 year old Grandaughter. Special Shout out to Raphel. He was attentive to her every need. I would highly recommend this to any one that is bottom fishing for the first time. Everyone in my party caught plenty of fish. They were scaled and cleaned. In the freezer to go home with me tomorrow.

I recently got married, and we stayed at the Comfort Inn in Sheepshead Bay. Nice location, some parking available, a decent full breakfast, good restaurants nearby.
