An enlightening experience and you get to sample some excellent beers. the tour is also interesting and the talk given by Laura (a glamorous looking, excellent orator and articulator who we thought might be as at home on Broadway or on TV!) on the brewery´s history is both entertaining and uniquely interesting. And you get to keep your glasses which... More

We spent hours just hanging out and trying beer at the brewery. It was pretty crowded when we arrived, but we were able to snag a table easily and make friends with the people around us. The token system is great, and it was fun trying everything they had to offer. The bathrooms were clean, the main room was clean,... More

Went on the brewery tour as a fill-in activity while in NYC for a few days. There was a a line to get in, and you wait for your tour to start in a large room with tables where you can buy tokens for beers and try out all the varieties. This is really good beer, the brewery is successful... More

We waited outside for about 10 minutes due to fire code, then went to another line to get beer tokens and swag (this is also where you get take away bottles). After getting tokens we got on another line for beer. I realize this sounds like a lot of lines but they moved quickly and wasn't without a beer for... More

Brooklyn Brewery makes some amazing beers. The location, in a former industrial section of Brooklyn does not make for a big tour- as a matter of fact, unlike some other brewery tours- there is very little movement- and a lot of history of the company. The main drinking area- where you buy tokens to exchange for beer is pretty large-... More

Spent a few hours here on a Sunday afternoon, great time spent tasting beers in the tasting room and the free tour was very good. Would definitely recommend

The tours of the brewery get booked up well in advance so plan ahead. Its a small brewery so the tour is only short but you get a good rundown on the beers in the bar and you get to sample a few.

The tour was interesting, no so much on how the beer is made, more towards the founding of the brewery. Probably a fun place to hang, beers are $5 and up, tour is free.

In terms of a brewery tour I found this to be very basic and it took a whole 5 minutes. Basically saw the giant mash tuns, kettles etc and the bottling line. Great beers to taste afterwards though which was the highlight and good selection of glasses etc to buy there also.
