My hometown, best borough. Downtown Brooklyn, walk on the Brooklyn Bridge and see the other bridges: Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges. great shopping, eats and just a great borough to visit while visiting NYC. Enjoy, oh, make certain to eat pretzel and knish from our famous "hot dog carts." Oh, I soon miss home. Also, make certain to enjoy "a real... More

The walking line is nice to do, better at the evening and one of the places to picture the Big Aple (South). Quiet and relaxing views, no noise, and people well educated. When sunset is esy to imagine the activity in the buildings in front watching lights at windows, world market does'nt stop. Don't forget it if you go to... More

The Brooklyn Heights Promenade is located a the very end of Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights. The walk to the Promenade will take you past the many shops and restaurants on Montague Street, and the area is surrounded by the exquisite architecture of the Heights; brownstones built more than a century ago, carriage houses turned into fabulous living quarters, and... Sweeping views of New York Harbor and the East River including the Brooklyn Bridge, Lower Manhattan, Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, New Jersey, Staten Island and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. The view also includes Brooklyn Bridge Park, with its lit soccer fields where games go long into the pre-midnight hours. I have lived on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade for... More

Please visit the Brooklyn Heights Promenade during sunset! You will be amazed by the beauty of Manhattan & see the transformation between day & night. Also visit the promenade & surroundings at Sunday. Much ado!

This is the place to take in sweeping views of the NYC harbour and the eastside of lower to mid Manhattan. A great place to just relax and take in a good sunset. Not to far from Montague Street, where there are lots of wonderful restaurants. So take in a meal and after stroll the promenade.

Walking around Brooklyn Heights and the Promenade is very enjoyable and well worth a visit. The promenade has benches spaced along, it is a great place to visit and soak up the skyline views of Lower Manhattan. Spend some time walking around the area close to the promenade and appreciate the beautiful old brownstone buildings of Brooklyn Heights. We found... More

Great views of Lower Manhattan from an elevated position. Trees and rowhouse gardens in the background add to the pleasant urban setting. Sadly, noise from the traffic-clogged Brooklyn-Queens Expressway immediately below the promenade is hard to ignore. In addition, new construction on the waterfront just south of the Brooklyn Bridge is blocking what was an unspoiled panorama of this magnificent structure.Still... More

The Brooklyn Height Promenade is worth the visit. It's a nice park over a highway with views of the river and Manhattan.
