Went there a sunny but cold day in mid January. Took subway to Brooklyn Heights and walked down to the south part of the park. We saw a picknick area that must be great in warmer weather. We walked to Brooklyn Bridge and took some great photos on the way. Finished the walk with a short stop at a temporary... More

One of the nicest free viewing places in the city. You can see the entire Brooklyn Bridge and the skyline. There are several restaurants around the area and a kid's playground. There are plenty of benches for you to sit and enjoy your lunch or just enjoy the view.

I had never seen the Brooklyn Bridge up-close before, and walking around in the park was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon with family. There were lots of activities, and we saw lots of families and people of all ages having a great time, even though it was the middle of winter. There is always something going on in... More

Nice walking trail and great for biking. Has nice parks for all ages and very nice grounds. Ferry stop which is great, and not too far from Fulton Street shopping.

There's a certain excitement walking in the park and then walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. Loved it.

I am a charter member since before it's opening. It is a lovely series of water's edge parks. A continuing path, which holds gardens, skating paths, soccer fields, summer pop-up pool , kayaking, flea markets, and a carousel. In the summer and early fall, they hold movie nights, picnics, etc free to the public.

What an awesome sight!!! The views and the ability to walk or just relax on the lawn is so relaxing. There are many small parks for kids to play, basketball courts, and even roller skating is available. Want to take ride to the city just climb aboard the water taxi and you're in MANHATTAN. You even have many local spots... More

If you really want to experience the view of the Manhattan skyline, then I recommend going to this park. It is also from here you get the best view of the Brooklyn Bridge.

Brooklyn Bridge park is one of the main neighborhood scenes for the locals to bring their children to play, hang out with friends and take out someone on a date. It is a popular place for wedding and engagement shoots. If you are visiting, you can definitely get a taste of life in downtown Brooklyn, especially in summer. You will... More
