Carroll Gardens is a classic "Brooklyn" neighborhood. It's a bit like stepping back in time. Beautiful brownstones with huge front yards dominate the neighborhood. There are amazing Italian delis and restaurants. It's worth the trip out to Brooklyn to experience it.

Very charming, row houses and small apartment buildings, tree-lined streets and lots of restaurants and cafes. Sort of like what the West Village used to be before all the money flooded in.

Wonderful Sicilian fare. Original dishes not the usual Italian fare. Must have the Pannelle special! They make their own bread. A little off the beaten path on a cute street in Carroll Gardens .

I love visiting Carroll Gardens. It has so much charm and great restaurants, pubs and shops. It has an old Italian neighborhood feel to it still even though many "hipsters" have moved into the neighborhood. Some of my favorite places in the neighborhood are Court...More
