I’m not sure why some websites make it seem like this is a secret and inaccessible place (maybe to sell tours?), but this place is completely open to the public. The atrium, which is what most instagrammers want to see, is in building B. It has table and chairs and there are even a few restaurants there, so you can use the space to not only take photos, but to have some food, relax, read, get some work done.
This is a direct stop on the NYC ferry line, either Rockaway or South Brooklyn line.
Definitely cool to see and photograph. Unique. Easy to reach by public transport. Surrounded by sunset park.
Definitely worth some exploring.

Formerly abandoned place, it is now mostly dedicated to studio lofts for aspiring artists.
The actual railroad terminals are quite scary with resemblance to the lagers of WWII and the building constructions of proletariat Eastern Europe. WEIRD.
