Small but fun

We had a great day, helpful assistants, fun rides and great weather. Could have been bigger but to complaints with us.

This is just your basic fairground type places on the edge of the beach, like most seaside towns across the UK (which have now shut or fallen into disrepair.) The difference is, it has been invested in, rebuilt, renovated and so on. Luna Park is great value for money, granted we were blessed with an amazing sunny day in October,... More

The New York City Explorer pass includes 4-hour access to Luna Park at Coney Island, so we decided to check it out. Luna Park is easily accessible by the subway lines D, F, N and Q. Unfortunately, the 4-hour pass does not include the five “extreme thrill” rides such as the Cyclone and Slingshot, and my elder kids were rather... More

We just love coming to Coney Island, it has the classic Roller Coaster, The Cyclone, which is my favorite ride in the park, my second favorite was the New Thunderbolt because it is like Fahrenheit at Hershey Park.

The main reason to go to Luna Park, in my opinion, is to ride the Cyclone roller coaster. Luna Park is part of the Coney Island experience, the larger of the last two remaining amusement parks, which also features the beachfront boardwalk with its food stands and a gift shop or two. It is located across the street from the... More

I went to the restroom and was waiting for a clean one. The lady working in the restroom told me that there was not a line, go on in. I told her the open ones were nasty and I was waiting on a clean one. She told me it was a public restroom of course they are nasty. Then she... More

Visited Luna Park at Coney Beach during our stay at NY. Overall an average experience. Plenty to do and rise for the little ones. The bigger thrill seeker rides required a more expensive wrist band. The standard ones covered around 80% of the rides otherwise you needed a platinum one which was a shame as they were very pricey. Food... More
