We came here en route to a late dinner reservation nearly with time to kill. The park commands a breathtaking view of magnificent Manhattan skyline across the East River. The setting sun made this water front green space even more enchanting. This is a pleasant place to relax and people watch. There’re a lot of ongoing activities, from volley ball games, family gathering having a good time, to playful dogs enjoying their freedom in an enclosed run. We stopped at Danny Meyer’s Tacocina for a quick bite and drinks (easier to order online for pick up than stand in line!). Everything you’d want at a park, including very clean bathrooms!

Nice mix of urban and scenic views. East River and Manhattan Bridge stand as protagonists. Space is tight, specially in the late afternoon and early evening. Can be added to a runner's trajectory, although I personally prefer Hunters Point South and Gantry State Park. Roberta's is right across as well as Tacocina. Aska is steps away. A spot to be added to your city explorations.

Designed by the same architects that did the High Line and Little Island and it opened in 2018. This public Park along the East River in Williamsburg is only 1/4 mile long and offers impressive views of the Manhattan skyline and watching the ferry on the river. I thought the taco restaurant's patio having a cocktail looked really inviting but I had already been grazing my way around that day. It's called Domino Park because it is on the site of the former Domino Sugar Refinery and some of the cranes and silos are still in the design. These architects have the right idea of converting old places into outdoor parks to be enjoyed like this.

On our last day in NY my husband and I had no plans. But we wanted to spend more time in Brooklyn so we took the L to Williamsburg and walked to Domino Park. There are wooden loungers and we shared one and sat there for 90 minutes just watching the boats on the East River and the locals walking their dogs and kids. There were a couple of tourists but it was a very quiet spot. I actually fell asleep. There is also a kids park and there were kids having fun.

Millennial touristy site devoid of real soul. It’s everything I dislike about Williamsburg. Slummy and dangerous with too much of a criminal element hiding underneath the pretty green lawn and beautiful water view.

This is a good place for your morning walk, jogging, picnic and relaxing on river front just opposite Manhattan - divided by river. Williamsburg bridge - nearby- is connecting Brooklyn to Manhattan. You can see subway and other traffic on bridge and so various ferries running on river.
Place is neat and clean and small fountains for children to play in. A small children area with some rides etc. ample space to small picnic and comfortable chars and benches etc.

We had a day looking at Williamsberg for the first time. Travelled by subway and returned by ferry. Some interesting shops and we found a quirky coffee shop/restaurant that served organic and gluten-free. The highlight of our trip was the wonderful Domino Park where there was a great array of modern play areas for children of all ages and the most clean and beautiful toilets in town. This area is obviously being developed from old factories and docks and I can imagine it becoming a very desirable area. generally parks in NY are exceptionally good and this one is the latest. Loved the water feature.

Glad I was finally able to make it out there. I was able to get alternate-side street parking in the area on a nice Friday afternoon. The park itself is lovely. It is very well kept and clean. There is lots of space to sprawl out and relax on the grass. There are beach/lounge chairs and benches throughout the park, even along the waterside. I also noticed a volley ball and a bocce ball court. For the kids, there is a large area where water shoots up from the ground and a bunch of different play areas, including one with some cool-looking slides. There is a dog run. There is also a food place (tacos/tex-mex?!) food toward the center of the park. I believe they also sell beer and wine. There are bathroom-trailers across the street from the park near 3rd Street which were surprisingly clean and modern-looking. The surrounding neighborhood/area is lovely with tons of food options. Lovely place to spend a few hours walking around the park and the surrounding area. Top notch views of the Williamsburg bridge...I hope to return during the night for some night skyline/bridge photos! I highly recommend Domino Park to all.

Beautiful views of the NYC skyline and Statue of Liberty. Restaurants, food trucks, volleyball, bocci, picnic areas and walking paths. I just left and want to go back!
