Well, that place was great!

It was a snowy day in Brooklyn and nobody was out. We stayed in our Airbnb almost all day because it was cold and disgusting outside and the snow was relentless. BUT we were on vacation so wanted to find a cool spot near us so we could get out of the apartment for a bit and explore Williamsburg a bit. This place did not disappoint. The experience started before even arriving. Walking through Williamsburg and seeing the street art is pretty amazing. And being a visitor, it felt a lot like the neighborhood I live in back home. I loved the grunge, the mixture of run down buildings and new development, renovated spaces, and amount of things to find within walking distance. The interior of the space was cozy, somewhat upscale, had couches for people to sit on, tons of seating at the bar, and TONS of taps. The prices were average for craft beer and the bartender was REALLY helpful in giving recommendations of other places to see while in Brooklyn. Everyone knows of Brooklyn Brewery, but he gave a list of several other smaller and better breweries that locals like, as well as some great music spots. All of the taps had great local beer from a variety of breweries so it was a great spot to go and sample all of the different breweries around in one place rather than having to go to each one individually. I loved the experience. And because of the snow this place was pretty empty but can see why a lot of people will go there on weekends. It's a big space so there was lots of room for us to spread out. I highly recommend this spot if your in Brooklyn.

This place not only has a lot of beers, they have a large collection of extraordinary beers that represent some of the best offered in the recent "craft beer" era. There's a great back area and plenty of space inside. Bring your own food, though, because there's no kitchen onsite.

Not only are 60 beers on draft, there is an enormous bottle selection available as well. They take beer and Brooklyn brewing history seriously. Worth a stop just to see the bar. Dark, noisy, completely indifferent bar tenders are the down side.
