This was the first time we had been to Coney Island. We were glad we went to see it. It was very dirty and worn down. Trash laying everywhere. The bathrooms were very out of date. It was nice that you could just walk right...More

Coney Island is a classic New York landmark. Definitely worth a visit. There is a very large amusement park (Luna Park) with plenty to do. Also lots of food options and an aquarium. It is very easy to get here by subway from Manhattan. When...More

First off, Coney Island is a Brooklyn Treasure and a must see. However, it is dirty, worn down and the bathrooms need to be completely demolished. My favorite take aways, the classic rides, the family beach, and Nathan's Hot Dogs - its been there since...More

A great trip to make though I can't really explain why.... It's iconic status, it's cheesy carny atmosphere, the very diverse population, Nathan's Famous Hot Dog. We didn't walk the 15 mins or so to Brighton Beach, a very Russian area with Russian food etc...More

It was fun but I can get the same experience at any beach carnival. The rides were ok and the people running them were rude but it's a nice beach.

What a great place with a good vibe. Visited on a lovely hot day and walked around the beach and boardwalk. Also had a ride on Cyclone which was fantastic! Only downside is that there is very little shade to escape the sun on hot...More

Coney island is a tourist mecca, the beach is way overcrowded by tourists, so is the boardwalk. It is the perfect place to people watch. There are tons of rides and games. Depending on where you stay it may be a long subway ride, we...More

Fantastic beach, great walk along the boardwalk, some good bars, aquarium and a good atmosphere. As amusement parks go, the one at Coney Island is more nostalgia, but I had fun on my one ride on the classic Cyclone. I... More

Hi, yes you can. It costs 10 dollars for one ride. You can buy a ticket from a booth just outside the entrance. It is a great ride, enjoy!
