We spent two nights/three days with David & Jenna on their Homestead Overnights tour (March 1-3, 2020). To say we had a wonderful experience would be an understatement. We are discerning travelers who have traveled to 40+ countries, many of which are with private guides, and David & Jenna far exceeded our expectations. They kept us safe, made sure we were warm at all times, and catered to our food preferences. They are excellent cooks and there is always plenty to eat. We did as many activities as we wanted, dog sled for as long as we wanted, snow shoed, and ice fished. It was a very authentic experience because David & Jenna are not just running a tour operation. This is their home and way of life. The dogs are amazing and well-trained when they're on duty and ultra affectionate when they're off. They also had a super cute 5-month old puppy who would not miss an outing with us. The whole process starting with booking and answering our bombardment of questions (they are very responsive to e-mails, which is how we communicated), to picking us up at our hotel and dropping us off at the end of our trip, was extremely smooth. I would highly recommend them if an active winter vacation is what you're seeking.

I spent 3 days with Jenna & David during January and it was truly one of the more unique experiences of my life. Under other circumstances, this could have been an overly challenging environment, but with Jenna & David I was totally taken care of and allowed to tailor the experience to my physical level and interests. Dog sledding, ice fishing, snowshoeing; it was all fantastic. The cabin was very comfortable. The clothes they outfitted me in were perfect for the environment- and many handmade. Loved the furs- they were just the right touch for this adventure.

I surprised my 8 year old daughter with a moonlight mushing trip our last night in Fairbanks. It was minus minus 30 that night, which thanks to David's incredible hospitality wasn't remotely an issue (and he had good loaner gear to supplement what we brought). The dogs were incredibly sweet and wanted to cuddle and play with my daughter from the moment she arrived. As for the ride, I was in the basket and could hear her giggling the entire trip as she stood on the sled in back riding through the moonlit snow-covered forest. The whole experience was magical and we would absolutely book another trip with them.

We did the dog sledding day tour with Jenna. It was a fantastic experience on the extremely cold day that it was with temperatures touching -36F. Jenna is very sweet and she also made us a wonderful hot soup for lunch. Her dogs are also very very friendly. Jenna ensured that we stay warm by providing adequate winter gear before the start of the sledding. They live off-grid and the landscape that we saw during the dog-sledding tour was out-of-this-world beautiful !! It was truly a winter wonderland! Great fun day and super friendly people!

We had an awesome dog sled tour in Fairbanks hosted by David and Jenna. They helped us keep warm during the tour and David was an excellent coach on dog sled control. It was key that it was a private tour as you want a quiet experience in nature with the dogs and snow. 5 stars. Thank you, Andrew and Felicia
