I was a little apprehensive at the prospect of a 16 hour bus tour from Fairbanks up to the Arctic Circle and back in one day. But our knowledgable driver and guide, Suzanne, made the hours and miles whizz by with her stories about Alaskan life, history, culture and nature. She is the sole reason I rate the day trip... Thank you GaviotaGull for joining Suzanne on the Arctic Circle Winter Drive Adventure. We are glad you enjoyed your safe and informative time with Suzanne. A journey of 400 miles in Alaska is a full day - but one that can be enjoyable with a knowledgable, well trained guide in a well maintained, safe vehicle -- we are glad we... More

We flew from Fairbanks to Coldfoot, Alaska in an 8-passenger aircraft that gave us a sense of the vast scale of Alaskan arctic region and an aerial view of the vast Alaska wilderness. Coldfoot is north of the Arctic Circle in the Brooks Mountain Range. We visited the The Arctic Interagency Visitor Center in Coldfoot where we explored the exhibits... More

Thank you tildak2016 for reviewing your Arctic Circle Aurora Fly Drive -- summer experience (as it is slightly different in the winter). So glad you enjoyed your time. Do you have your Arctic Circle Certificate? I ask in that your guide signs it as a witness to your crossing the Arctic Circle. Or, don't hesitate to call our office and... More

We took fly north and drive south tour with northern lights package. I agree with some travelers that it was crowded with people and long ride on bouncy roads. But all our guides were great. One feedback I have is the northern lights location outpost. We were not able to see lights but on same day other tour companies did... More

My husband and I went on the Arctic Circle fly / drive trip a few days ago. We cannot say enough about the experience and the guides and staff who helped us during the day. It was incredible to see the Arctic up close, even in -40 weather. :) We highly recommend this tour and this company!

Thank you Amy H for joining us on the Arctic Circle Fly Drive Adventure. Yes, a -40 degree day makes it adventure just by itself but so glad you got out and see it up close for yourself. Best wishes for a great winter. Kathy More

We did the North Alaska Fly Drive tour in September. The trip was great...I had expected the road to be much more rough than it was. The scenery is awesome all along the way...Overnight in Coldfoot 1.5 hours north of the Arctic Circle was basic accomodation and friendly people. We flew back...Fabulous! loved every minute, especially seeing the bear on... More

We took this package over last weekend under the Aurora package from Alaska Railroad. The actual package from Alaska Railroad flies you both ways and you cannot see any Northern Lights as the flights are all during daylight hours with a 10 minute sightseeing in Coldfoot (which my friends took) and is practically worthless! We spoke to Northern Alaska Tour... More

This tour company is well managed and take safety as their top priority. flying with Ryan was good, but small planes can be claustrophobic. Coldfoot is a great place to view northern lights and to see the northern most post office in the US. The trans alaska pipeline is an engineering marvel by itself. The cafe in Coldfoot has great... Thank you Ganesh V for joining Ryan on the Arctic Circle Aurora Fly Drive Adventure. I like your advise on not needing to buy expensive clothing. The flight up to Coldfoot is not as scenic as trips over Mt. Denali but it's still the best way to experience life above the Arctic circle. The trip is expensive and you run the REAL risk of booking your trip and then being disappointed because of heavy cloud cover. We were lucky that most of the flight was clear.... More

The flight itself was spectacular. However when we returned to Healy I had to use the outhouse. IT WAS FULL TO WITHIN A FEW INCHES OF THE TOP. A friend of mine who did the same flight a month prior HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE. Come on guys, please empty your outhouse.

We did the tour from Fairbanks to Coldfoot and while in Coldfoot, we also went to the Chandalar Shelf for a "drive" and also went to Wiseman to view the Aurora. The first night in Coldfoot the Aurora came out for a few hours (8 to 10 pm) so we thought there was no real need to go to Wiseman... More
