An amazing yourney to the North! From the airplane you can spot the Alaskan oil pipeline and the astonishing nature. Jack Reakoff lives in Wiseman, with 10 other people! You can view the most Nordic garden ;) This was in July, so the sun kept on shining on our way back at 23.30h, the midnight sun!

Our Arctic Circle Tour, which started with a flight from Fairbanks to Prudhoe Bay, an overnight in PB and next morning beginning our two days plus tour back to Fairbanks with Mike Fenno, our tour guide, was awesome. We are in awe of the the people who built the Trans-Alaskan pipeline. Proud to be an American So much to see... More

We did the round-trip air tour in a nine passenger Piper aircraft. Our pilot Steve was professional and very knowledgeable. He is a retired Hawaiian Airline pilot. On the ride over he flew us very low so it was someone bumpy and hot, but gave great views. He flew us back at 9500 feet and it was a much smoother and... We took the one day Arctic Circle tour. It was awesome. Tony our driver was courteous and helpful. He shared a wealth of knowledge about Alaska, Fairbanks and the region. Excellent and informative stops along the way and a great and quick one hour flight on the way back. We would definitely recommend the tour and Tony.

Arrived in Fairbanks late on a Friday, tried four tour companies for a trip to the Arctic Circle, but they were already booked. Called Northern Alaska Tours and the agent was able to accommodate our request for a Sunday tour. There were 18 of us on a very comfortable tour bus. Aaron, our guide/driver, was amazing! Very knowledgeable, personable, and... More

So glad you were able to join Aaron on the Arctic Circle Drive Adventure. Yes, each guide tries to make the experience memorable and I am glad he succeeded with your group. Safety is the first priority and then an experience so that you could walk away with a better understanding of the region is the next. I am glad... More

We left at 1pm (the 5:30am tour was full) and flew to Coldfoot, Ak. This is 55 mi north of the Arctic Circle. Took the van back to Fairbanks on the Dalton Hwy. Made numerous stops including the Arctic Circle sign. Had dinner at a cafe on the Yukon River. We did not get back until 1am which made it... More

Dear TheDukeCalifornia, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on the Arctic Circle Fly Drive Adventure. We are glad you enjoyed your time with Rob. Covering that distance is a full day. We appreciate the thought on a different time of day; however, the logistics with matching the planes with both the morning and afternoon departures the... We had booked the afternoon fly drive - we flew in to Coldfoot from Fairbanks in a small plane. Luggage had to weigh less than 10 pounds. Then drove back from Coldfoot. On the way, saw the tundra, some wildlife, crossed the arctic circle, saw the alaskan pipeline. Had a good guide. Its a long drive, and the tour as... More

Thank you 3nvi for taking the time to share your experience with us on the Arctic Circle Fly Drive Adventure. It is true we weigh bags and do look for guests to have bags between 5 - 10 pounds. There is limited weight space on the planes. Bottom line is to be sure guests only bring what they need for... More

We took the Bus trip to the Arctic Circle. I did not know how much we would learn about the area and the pipeline, Tony was our guide and he did a great job. Don't miss your chance to feel the frozen tundra, The food was very tasty

Thank you Joe S for sharing your review of your Arctic Circle Drive Adventure with Tony. Yes it is a full day but is amazing how much information the guides can fit into one day. And, we appreciate your indication the food you got at the Yukon River Camp was "tasty". An oasis along the Yukon River! Thank you, Kathy More
