By far one of the greatest experiences in Fairbanks! We were there mid-March and were originally scheduled to do an afternoon sled, but it was unfortunately way too hot for the dogs. We were so disappointed since we heard other travelers have their dog sledding tours canceled with other companies due to the unusually warm weather, but Anita was so... More

I was originally signed up for an Aurora tour and hanging out with a few of Nita's sled dogs. Weather wasn't cooperating, Nita gave me the option of a sled dog ride instead. I have a new favorite thing.

Anita, Jeff, Ben, and the the dogs were great! One of the highlights for my week long Alaska trip! Jeff picked us up from our hotel and once you're there, you will find some dogs just laying or roaming around. We got there, met Anita and the dogs and started getting ready for the run. The dogs were so excited... More

We loved every second of this trip! Anita, Jeff and the team looked after us SO well. It was an amazing day that we'll never forget. I would definitely recommend using this company. Anita loves her dogs and it shows. You feel happy there and there is a sense of the good life being out in the clean fresh air... More

We had a blast with Nita and the dogs. This is a true Alaskan experience and a must do. Nita was an excellent host as well as her dogs. Not only will you get to mush with the beautiful dogs and see the work and dedication that is necessary, but you get to play with the doggies!!!! Nita makes you... More

Our dog sledding tour was the highlight of our Fairbanks trip! Nita and her dogs are absolutely wonderful! It was simply amazing to watch the dogs become powerhouses and pull the sled through the exciting trails around Nita's rustic cabin. The trails were so fun and scenic that we didn't even mind the cold (being the Texans that we are).... More

I booked a tour with Nita and her team to see the Northern Lights and was not disappointed. I highly recommend Sirius Sled Dog for your tour as her location is perfect and she is such as great host. Nita’s cabin is situated ideally on top of Murphy’s Dome. Her cabin is rustic and simple, nothing fancy, but cozy with... More

Nita Fowler and her team of beautiful sled dogs will give you the experience of a lifetime! Nestled amidst beautiful woods and snow covered trails, you can't help but share the excitement displayed by the dogs as they happily guide the sled through a winter wonderland and then decide to frolic in the snow during a spur of the moment... We were in Fairbanks for the Yukon Quest and booked a sled dog tour online. Anita, the owner of Sirius Dog Sledding, picked us up at our hotel, drove us up to her home (a beautiful drive), introduced us to her dogs (all of whom were very happy to see us), took us out on a 2 -3 hour sled... More

You cannot miss this trip. Both Anita (Nita) and Kaylie are dog lover, you can feel and sense about is in every where, every second. Those cute dogs run very fast, but more intetesting is, you can drive the sled by your self. Nita and Kaylie will teach you how to do. Just hold on tight and keep low profile.... More
