Very clean, friendly place to visit. For the best experience go to the visitors bureau first and get brochures and info. There are plenty of antique stores, restaurants and places to see. Some stores have very nice items that are realistically priced and have value....More

Whether you are local Virginian or travelling from out of the area, historic Fredericksburg is worth a stop. The area has many reasonably priced restaurants, lots of - independent - shops, including antiques galore. Easy enough to park. Very walk able.

Old Town is rich in history and tradition. You must take your family to walk the steps of history. This is a friendly town that will not disappoint. Ecclectic, culturally mixed, and full of personality.
