Very well kept area. Well marked and informative. Well preserved, everything was the same as it was depicted in the photos from the era. Helpful and friendly staff.

Good maps and information. Excellent site information at each stop and an amazing story, especially the Sunken Road tragedy for so many young men.

History very well presented by historians. We enjoyed a guided walking tour that lasted a short 45 minutes.

This battlefield is in town. The sunken road was a site to see with the bullet ridden house near it. The movie they show was very good. Will be back soon.

The horrors of war are brought to life as you explore the enormous loss suffered at the battles fought in and around Fredericksburg, Virginia. Wear some comfortable shoes and explore the grounds of the pak as well as downtown Fredericksburg.

There are not riding horses experiences any where close by. Again the Fredericksburg Area Vistors Center can help you out. Riding trails are located in more rural areas of the county.
