We went on a Saturday…This is something fun to do with your family and the dog on a nice weather day. The prices of the produce can be a little high, but when we went, the produce was all rather fresh and nice. It can be crowded.

Holding true to downtown Fredericksburg being the anus of Virginia, the market just enforces that moniker. Vegetables with Ya'll-Mart tags and other items with Kroger tags. The fresh cut flowers there are the only place worth stopping and have great pricing. Other than that, they need to drop the dozer blade at Carl's and push it all into a pile at river.

We had such a good time at the Farmer's Market. We brought my mother, who had never been, and she loved it. Great activity for out of town guests. We bought homemade dog biscuits, Lavender and regular Fresh Squeezed Lemonade, Cinnamon-Chip Bread, Honey Pumpkin Spice Jam, Kettle Corn, Caramel Kettle Corn and Old Bay Kettle Corn. We even knocked a gift off a birthday list. We bought a balancing wood wine bottle stand. It seems to defy gravity and is a great gift for a wine connoisseur. And if they enjoy physics, all the better. So, much fun! Dogs are welcome. Being a dog loving family, it was a highlight to see the size of a 15 month old Irish Wolfhound! Good memories were made here.
