The park reminds European landscaping. It is great to visit all year round. Has an iceskating ring in winter, and the best sliding slope. For summer visitors, it has a beautiful small lake with swans and gooses. Playground is fine, not too exiting. You can also rent a picnic table. Oh, and an amazing view on top of the hill.

On a hill with sweeping views of Boston on one side and the excellent auto museum and pond on the other, this a gem in the Emerald Necklace. Sledding and skating in the winter as good as you can find, though the hill is not for the faint of heart. We have gone regularly for years, first with kids for... More

This park is a fantastic place for a walk on a hill and alongside ponds and fountains, to bring kids to play on the playground, to rent a spot for a summer barbeque, or play some soccer or baseball. Its best in spring and fall - when the colors are amazing. While the best views are from the top and... More

Easy to find, parking available, beautifully kept...all within a short drive. A perfect place to bring families with room for a family ball game, a lazy nap on the lawn or a simple stroll around lovely surroundings right in the middle of the city.

The nicest of all of Bostons public parks. It has it all gorgeous views of the city, a nice pond to stroll around, public garden space, sports fields, an antique auto museum, an ice skating rink, and the nicest tree in all of Boston a huge old willow overlooking the downtown skyline. A must see for Boston residents and visitors... More

This is my favorite place right outside of Boston. I was a member of the museum for a year, and the car collection is amazing! Even if you're not a fan, the grounds of the museum are amazing. Take the family, the dog, just walk around! I know that they hold weddings on the property as well. I want to... More

Lovely and charming part of the famed Emerald Necklace, this particular park makes you feel like you are elsewhere. All times of year, this is one of my favorite spots. There is a lovely view of the city.
