This is the best book seller I've ever seen. Can't stay out of the place! Has everything from cards to books you can't find anywhere else. They can find anything you need.

Even the name Brookline Booksmith is a kind of throwback to the days not all that long ago when a lot of stores affected a kind of humble brag in their names (Radio Shack, for example). Books are obviously not made by "smiths". They are...More

Love the consistently great book selections and recommendations. The used book area and gift selections are an added bonus. It is much better to shop at independent bookstore.

This place is a gem. It has everything, and it's right in the heart of Coolidge Corner. Well worth a browse if you're in the area.

If there's space, the most convenient place is a parking lot at the corner of John and Babcock ($1.25/hour). Failing that, and if there's no street parking, you should head for the large parking lot on Centre St.
