Beautiful wedding or event space

I have attended several events here and they are always beautiful. This historic site is well worth the price for the atmosphere alone.

This is a really classic building. You can feel the catholic school culture that inhabited the facility until the 70's when it was converted to offices and commercial training facilities. Can smell the old varnish from the woodwork and the floors.

I was hoping for a different result than the other reviewer on the Academy's FB page that said "DO NOT COME HERE!". This building is beautiful and we did everything to ensure a good relationship with the staff from the beginning, unfortunately we had a very similar experience. On the wedding day two (one being the main lady) of the... More

Attended a large retirement party and it was a grand celebration! The food was good and plentiful and the staff kept the drinks flowing.

Vicki was a dream to work with, the venue is beautiful by its self or you can decorate. The price to use the chapel is more than fair. I SUGGEST A SPRING TIME WEDDING AS THE PRICE REALLY GOES UP FOR summer weddings. The location is easy for all your guest coming in as it is near 1-5 and walking... More

This is one of the oldest and best preserved buildings dating from the 1870's. It is in pristine condition and one can imagine the ladies who were educated here

The old Academy founded by Sister Joseph. Has been a convent, a school and now houses several small restaurants and has a huge room for wedding receptions. You are allowed to wander some of the halls and get the feel of history.

Part of Vancouver's proud history, the building is on the historic list. But like a lot the surrounding historic area it's waiting around for some big purpose. Inside there 's a café, studio, gallery and office space. There is a beautiful little chapel to get married in and a adjoining hall for receptions an the like but other than that... More
