Beautiful historic atmosphere, easy to get to from downtown Vancouver; great service, and really-- have never had such a fine salmon, so perfectly and tenderly cooked! A great place on Officers Row.

My family of 4 were here for dinner with 2 friends on a Saturday night. Finding the house/restaurant on "Officers Row" at Old Ft. Vancouver was a little tricky for folks from out-of-town, but not too difficult. The house, itself, is a gorgeous example of architecture from that period (mid-to-late 1800's), but the name itself is a bit misleading. General/President... More

They have a restaurant and Bar. Food is good. Really enjoy the ambiance. The building inside in the bar has the original log and chinking walls, The Old fireplaces, beautiful sun room. Fun to eat out on the veranda. Setting is in a Park among other historical homes.

This delightful old home is a treat to visit. It is well maintained and the architecture is very interesting. The restaurant is also very good. Everything I have eaten there is wonderful, made even more pleasant by the atmosphere.

This old home has been turned into a restaurant and we very much enjoyed our lunch there, our nice waitress and our lovely table outside on the porch. The food was very good and the staff welcoming. Reservations highly recommended. While we were eating, a large group departed into their tour bus, so it tends to be very busy. The... More

This was our first time trying the Grant House. The atmosphere is great, and the house is beautiful! The food was ok. The ham soup was under seasoned, but edible. The entrees were way over salted, but the gnocchi and risotto were done very well. Unfortunately the advertised shrimp dish actually had prawns, and for someone who loves shrimp and... More

This area is officers Row, and is one of several historic homes open to the Public. The food is good and the house has some historic importance.

I had read good reviews from others so we came for an early Valentines dinner. My husband ordered steak medium well and I ordered salmon. His steak came very rare and my salmon not cooked through. We had the waiter take them back for more cook time. He tried to convince me the salmon was supposed to be undercooked for... More
