We did a virtual room- the D.B. Cooper experience!
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was fantastic. Didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything doing it virtually, vs being there in person.
Macy & Alex did a great job, I absolutely loved getting to do the room with them.
Our group was a little hesitant at first- I think just it being a new thing, & the awkwardness of how the virtual would work, trying not to talk over each other, etc.
Alex was great, made lots of jokes & did a good job getting us to relax, but also reminding us what needed to be done, etc.
We made it out- but the last bit of it, I wasn’t sure we would.😂😂
Absolutely going to be coming back to do another room soon. It was really great to put the faces we see on TikTok to the actual people as well. Really happy you guys have the virtual option available. 💕

Ok I am by no means an escape room expert, but I have completed many rooms around the country over the last few years and have come to know that the NW Escape Experience is head and shoulders above the rest. The team there has put countless hours into the theme and set pieces for each room, and the puzzles are challenging and remarkably well thought out. We have now completed two rooms "the Kill Room" and "Rooney's House". These room's story lines are linked and it was nice to come back a year or so after we did the first room and find a new room and puzzles in a story line we loved the first time.
After you have done a few different escape rooms, you start to understand how a Game Master can make and break your experience. This trip was no different. Soren(our game master) was amazing. His portrayal of Ronny was spot on and kept us all on our toes. This room is both terrifying and challenging to say the least.
We did this room as part of a birthday weekend for our 14 year old and her friends. We had a group of 8 with ages ranging from 11-38, and all loved it for different reasons. The team at NWEG even included a birthday card for our daughter as part of one of the puzzles.
In short, if you want to have a fun escape experience go here. I have not found a better team, room, or Staff, anywhere else. Thanks again for making our daughter's birthday so special.

Two of us did the Jurassic Park theme room. It was very fun; challenging puzzles. Reagan as Marti the robot, did a great job adding to the entertainment value with her storylines and was also available if you needed hints. She really made the experience much more enjoyable. Looking forward to more escape game rooms in the future.

For the past few years my wife, children, and I have spent a lot of time traveling around the country for work and pleasure. We often find ourselves in cities both large and small with the burning questions, "what should we do tonight". In many cases our default answer has been to check out a local escape room. Being that our home base is Vancouver, we have also visited NW Escape Experience a few times, and have always seen it as our gold standard when comparing other escape experiences. This however may be changing, We have done both the Kill Room (twice) and this last time we did the DB Cooper room. The puzzles have always been challenging, themes executed well with the game master often being one of the highlights of the rooms. This however seems to be changing, in both of my last two trips to NW Escape my group has gotten stumped on a puzzle that was not difficult to solve but rather broken, or in such disrepair that even though we were doing all of the right things to solve the puzzle we could not tell that we had it right because the expected outcomes were not happening. In both cases this has caused members of my group to get frustrated and need additional help from the host. Part of the joy for our group has always been to solve these rooms with as little help as possible, and the fact that we had to ask for help on a room just because the room was not working is a cardinal sin in our book. We have also seen a drop off in the quality of the room host, this shop has always seemed to lean in to the acting part of their jobs and specifically in the DB cooper room this role left much to be desired. I guess our next great puzzle to solve is going to be, what local escape experience is going to replace NW Escape Experience as our new local go to.

I am very sorry to hear this! I would definitely love to get more information from you on what was broken that did not allow you to solve the puzzle on your own. We also agree that it is a cardinal sin to not have a room in proper working order and I assure you that we do everything we can to make sure that we this is not a normal occurrence. We do keep track of any issues with props during customer experiences and do everything in our power to make sure that we make those situations right. As you know from our previous "gold standard" experiences we take these types of situations very seriously. NW Escape experience in Vancouver is a great place for fun and entertainment for the whole family. I have been there several times, and even the most experienced problem solvers will be challenged. I really like the DB Cooper room and Jurassic Tours the best so far. I haven’t been to the Polybius Lives room yet but I know for video gamers it will be a popular one! The staff is great and interactive.

This was the best escape room I have ever done! We did Ronnie's House, and it was tricky and engaging. My husband, bless his heart, is a bit of a know it all and much more experienced in Escape Rooms than I am. Normally that leaves me feeling dejected and like I didn't contribute to the room, but Ronnie's house was truly an immersive experience. I don't know if I solved any clues or not, honestly. I just was having fun looking around the room and getting scared. So even though I might not have contributed, I still felt very much involved the whole time.
We solved all the puzzles and the door code, so I thought we had beat it with flying colors. When we put in the door code, it opened to ANOTHER room and I freaked out. It was so cool to have multiple rooms with different themes.
Finally, the actor playing Ronnie was really fun. We enjoyed our banter with them and it made the game that much more enjoyable.

From the second my friend and I walked in, I could tell we were going to have a great time. The receptionist was super kind, helpful, and even told us we could play around with some puzzles while we waited for our room to be ready. Then, we entered our room-Ronnie's House. It was very immersive, and our host Reagan was super awesome. The room was the perfect level of difficulty and I felt satisfied with what my friends and I accomplished despite the fact that we did not manage to escape. I guess my only criticism is that I sometimes had trouble understanding the host, but I almost feel like it was just a me problem since my friends seemed to understand just fine. I think I was probably too nervous/excited to understand. The whole experience was great, but Reagan and the receptionist (whose name I unfortunately didn't get) made the experience more welcoming and approachable, which was really important to me as it was my first time doing an escape room. I'm so excited to go back soon, hopefully!

Can't say enough about how much fun we had, and we never even made it out the room. The game master Alex was great! He nudged us just enough when we asked for clues to get us to think. These rooms are serious fun. Can't wait to do another!

Over the years I've done many escape rooms but this was easily my favorite room I've done. My sister and I have been wanting to try Ronnie's room since they opened it but our schedules never worked out enough to do it. We finally did and it didn't disappoint. The spooks started immediately and the puzzles were super fun and elaborate. I enjoyed looking at the details of everything like the flesh lap, eyeballs, blood everywhere, etc. By far the best part was Regan (hope I spelled that right) who was our 'Ronnie' for the room. She was an absolute treat. I loved our interactions. By the end of it, Ronnie felt like family opposed to a psycho killer. I was grinning ear to ear the entire time. Not just this room either. I've done two of their others and they've always been a blast. I highly highly recommend NW Escape Experience and will be back for more.

Two of us were in from out of town and dragged our family member there. She had had a not so good experience in L.A. with a different escape room. Well this changed her view! We did the Jurassic tours and it was awesome! Soren was our “guide” and he was great! Funny and dropped a subtle clue when we really needed it.
I will definitely be up here again and come back. Really was top notch!

Two people is not enough to solve enigmas in 60 minutes.... besides that, all escape rooms have a minimum and a maximum number of players, and it usually ranges from 4 to 10 people. So, invite another couple to go with you and be prepared to have a lot of fun! :)
