This statue is outside of the main building of Williston State College in Williston, North Dakota. It is well done and helps let people know that Sitting Bull was important to this area as well as an important figure in the history of the USA.

Beautiful Bronze Memorial
Sep 2016 • Solo
The life size bronze of sitting bull was done by acclaimed sculptor Michael Westegard. Sitting Bull, the famous Hunkpapa Sioux leader surrendered at Fort Buford, just 25 miles from the monument's site. Located on the front door of Williston State College, make sure you read the plaques which are affixed to each side of the monument.
