I scheduled a Civil War Savannah tour for my wife and I for a Friday. Shortly after scheduling our tour we decided to try and change it and reschedule for Saturday. There is no way to cancel or reschedule online; the only option is to call Savannah Walks, so I did. I left a message and was told that I... More

We are terribly sorry to hear about your experience booking your tour. Our primary online ticket sales company went out of business July 4th weekend and we had to quickly find a replacement. There was a bit of confusion booking tours while we transitioned to our new sales vendor and we did our very best to answer all guest questions... More

Our guide, Phil, was very knowledgeable, but the company scheduled him for 2different tours at the same time. I felt a bit shortchanged by the combination. There were fairly young children on the tour and they were bored. Not the tour guide's fault, he tried to accommodate them. I would suggest this is NOT for kids under 12. You walk... More

Savannah is, from all accounts, one of the most haunted cities in America. However, from this walking tour you couldn't tell. Clif, our guide, was disengaging, too quiet to hear and frankly, not very entertaining. There is a lot of history here that could've been presented in a much more entertaining manner but was not. I recommend the Sorrell Weed... More

Highly recommended for history buffs. I was the only person signed up for my time slot so I got a private tour at a low price. My guide was Phillip, a native of Savannah and extremely knowledgeable. Phil made history come alive and talked about the aspects that we don't learn in school. Very informative. 90 minute tour moves at... More

We think we would have enjoyed the actual tour but they cancelled the tour (by text) just a few hours prior to the time and asked if we could change times. We texted back saying our schedule did not allow flexibility but we could keep the original time or wanted a full refund. They said they were unable to talk... More

My husband and I took the Civil War tour, and it was interesting, but not quite as informative as I would have hoped. Its a great way to see the Historic District if you have a couple hours to kill though.

This was my first time in Savannah, and so the Savannah Stroll, which provides an overview of the city, seemed a good fit. The 90-minute walk gave a thorough introduction to this beautiful and storied city, using Savannah’s layout and architecture as the outline for the tour. Our guide was Brad, and he was an excellent narrator and friendly host.... More

I purchased vouchers through Groupon and followed Savannah Walks directions to schedule a tour, to no avail. I've called their business, left messages, contacted Groupon and still no response from Savannah Walks. Very disappointing experience, thankfully there are plenty of other tour companies in town.

Thank you for the review. Due to the high number of tickets sold from this very popular promotion, returning phone calls from each and every guest can take a bit of time. All Groupon guests are invited to show up at tour time regardless of reservation status. Groupon has no reservation program of their own so, until that time, we... More

Our guide was very knowledgable and you could tell that he loved what he was doing. It is a lot of walking, not so sure that I would take a stroller, or wheelchair. There are steps and brick pavers that are not level. Wear comfy shoes - you get a few chances to sit and I would recommend taking a... More

You have many choices for walking tours when in Savannah. We chose to do the Civil War Walking Tour with Savannah Walks, and our guide, Brad, was a wealth of information. They offer other walks as well; examples are Gates and Gardens, Savannah Stroll, Haunted Pubs and Taverns Tour, and A Walk through Midnight (based on the best selling novel... More
