The beach is clean and beautiful. You will want to spend a lot of time here soaking up the vibes. Across the parking lot are restaurants and bars so everything is convenient and enjoyable.

I really liked Tybee Island. My husband and I enjoyed eatting at "The Crab Shack" and we went shopping at a few places. I got two t-shirts, a collectable spoon, and some other things.

First time to Savannah, Georgia. The city is beautiful. We enjoyed the hop on hop off Trolley. They shared the history of the City. The Georgia Queen riverboat was nice as well.

Beautiful beach, went during pirate festivel so lots of pirates everywhere. Grandson dressed up and fit right in. Going early is a must in order to get a parking spot. Lots of places to eat just a short walk to the street.

We took a lift from the city to Tybee Island. Not that far of a drive. Clean beach, places to eat and shop around it.

I love this beach because it's at the end of the island and not crowded like it is over by the pier. Sadly it has very little parking and no services there but the sand is great and it has a beautiful view of Little...More

I agree with conrad. Get there early, parking will be hard to come by all over town.

South beach is removed from the main beach a bit and most of the beach goers go to the central or North beach. Granted that Tybee beach is not that large but I have not seen a lot of Spring break folks there at that time. IF... More
