Chocolat is a beautiful shop and so much fun to browse. The chocolate truffles offered are gorgeous and uniquely flavored. It was so sweet and enjoyable to select our treats by laying them on a silver tray. The only reason I gave this shop 4 stars instead of five is because after spending a ton of money on these gorgeous, delicate chocolates, the store attendant simply dropped them all into a plastic bag and sealed it with a sticker. Walking around the city I had to take extra care to make sure they didn't get crushed in my purse, which was a pain and just didn't seem to do the shop justice.

The chocolates are beautiful and creative, and some tasted very good. We were, however, surprised by the fact that none of the chocolatiers were wearing masks while making the chocolates. When we asked the salesperson about this, she seemed stunned by the question and did not have an answer beyond "I'm new here, but I think they get tested and it's ok because they are back there behind the partition"--while they were breathing all over the product. Seems odd to not have the people making chocolates take the same precautions that all restaurant staff (and even customers!) are required to take during a global pandemic. It also seemed tacky that they don't even box the chocolates without an upcharge. Chucking beautiful chocolates into a bag makes the company seem cheap and money-grubbing.

We stopped by to pick up some chocolate for our family while in Savannah. The chocolates were beautiful. However, if we are not going to be fearful of eating your chocolate during a pandemic, staff your location with someone who is not visibly fearful of taking our money. There are too many other locations with welcoming staff to go back here and be treated as though we have leprosy.

We chose a dozen or so of Turoni's chocolates to take home and savor over several days. Yum. Creative flavors. Excellent art of the chocolate. Not inexpensive but good value regardless. Fun shop. Good service. If you like good chocolate, don't miss what Adam Turon offers.

We were told of this place but have been in Europe had Good German and Belgium chocolate this place was way overpriced so no sale. But we did find some good chocolates in a nice cafe that also has nice lunch fare, Wright Square Cafe. Nice variety of chocolatiers chocolates from around the world at reasonable price plus have a nice lunch.
