Despite living in Savannah for almost 45 years, this was my first visit to this church. The stained glass windows were truly beautiful, in my opinion, much nicer than the ones at Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. The pipe organ was huge, and I would love to hear it played. The sanctuary was unique in that it is on the second floor. You enter the building, and then take an elevator or climb the stairs to the second floor. I believe someone said this is the oldest existing church building in Savannah. It is well worth a visit.

We were just visiting on our anniversary. The church was close to our hotel so we walked there on Sunday morning. Beautiful church, friendly people.

We happened on this church while walking about. We also lucked into a childrens choir concert too. A must see for its historical value. Be respectful when you go into houses of worship!

A unique style church on Wright Square in the historic district. This beautiful church has the deep red double doors and you have to take stairs or a lovely old elevator to get to the sanctuary on the second floor. The stained glass and architectural details are gorgeous!

We saw a numer of churches in while in Savannah and I would say that is is one of the most beautiful.
The current appearance dates back to 1879.
Two particulars really stand out: the magnifient stained glass and the amazing Cassavant pipe organ - we were fortunate that when we visited the organ was being played.
A must see church even if for a brief moment..

What a grand place! The stained glass windows are such a work
of art, help telling the word of God. If you appreciate art and beauty, you must visit this place.

We stumbled onto this beautiful church, walked inside and were wowed by its beauty. And as a very special gift, the organist was practicing. We had a "private" concert. It was amazingly beautiful. Giant pipe organ really sounded great. I recommend seeing this church.

We did not know what to expect as we entered the narthex and climbed the stairs. The stunning stained glass windows are beautiful. You are not aware of the enormous pipe organ which is to you rear. I would have loved to hear this beauty played by the organist.

Beautiful Easter Festival service! The organ music, the beauty of the sanctuary, and the friendliness of the pastor & congregation make this a very special place to worship.

In a city of beautiful historic architecture, this church stood out as one of the best. Definitely worth checking out when seeing Wright Square.
