My boyfriend and I went on the haunted pub crawl through ghost city tours. Our guide, Jackie, was excellent!! She was extremely knowledgeable, entertaining, and took us to as many haunted spots as she could in the 2 hour tour. We made it to about 4 or 5 bars and stopped at haunted spots in between where we were told of the haunted past. Would absolutely recommend!

We visited Savannah and were looking for a ghost tour and got recommended the “dead of night” tour by the hotel staff. Our tour guide was Jacob Alexander Vickers who was amazing. He was fun and very informative and really well versed in the history of all the tour stops. He was able to answer all our questions and encouraged pictures. The tour is about 1.5hr and expect to walk ~2 miles.
As of 10/14/2020 Savannah requires face masks if possible in all areas, even public - however - when exercising masks are not required. Walking is considered exercise. Our tour guide wore a mask and encouraged others to do so, but there was no enforcement of individuals chose not to. Thankfully we were all outside and were able to space out at each of the tour stops
10/10. Would recommend.

Our guide was Cricket, who did an excellent tour. She did a good job narrating even outside. We went from Bay Street to York street. We made about seven stops. Happy to say there were liquid spirits lingering about at the five pubs we stopped at. She kept us informed and entertained. By the end of the three hour walk, my Wife and I were the more sober attendees. It was a blast. From the history of Savannah, I would stay away from upper story windows! This was the walking adult haunted Mansion tour that Disney warned you about. The only issue was at Tondee's bar where our beers were off. Both tasted bad. I think the lines for the taps needed to be cleaned. But we still recommend this tour.

For a girls weekend, my friends and I thought it would be fun to do the Haunted Pub Crawl with Ghost City Tours. Let me tell you this was the biggest waste of $25 I've ever spent. Our tour guide spent the entire tour telling of his experiences as a tour guide and telling random historical stories. That's fine for a normal walking tour, but seeing as this was supposed to be a "haunted pub crawl" I would have liked to be scary. Heck, not even terrified, I just wanted to be the slightest bit spooked right? False. Our tour guide "Donny" did not tell one. scary. story. the entire night! In addition, we only stopped at 2 bars! For a pub crawl, we expected to stop at 5 or 6 bars, hear scary stories about whatever haunted happenings happened in each one. And to make matters worse, the tour group left us at one of the bars because the poor bartender's card reader wasn't working. We honestly would've been better off just staying at the bar and reading "scary stories to tell in the dark" to each other rather than go find the group. At each stop more and more people dropped out of the tour that by the time my friend group dropped out, less than a third of the original group remained. I honestly felt bad for poor Donny, he was so bad that I feel like he just couldn't even help it.

We did the Dead of Night tour and it was so terrible, we left after the second stop. The main guide was something out of a one woman show/drama improv class and the 2 guides-in-training were awful.
I’m scared of ghosts and ghost stories in general, but the stories they were telling wouldn’t scare a 5 year old sitting around a woooooo-spooky campfire (which is how they spoke to all of us).
I actually had second hand embarrassment for them bc you could see how forced the stories were and how they were struggling to make it interesting while losing the crowd.
You know it’s bad when the guide keeps asking, “Aren’t you scared?!! It’s that spooky?!?”
No. Not at all.

Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value!
Horizon was a wonderful tour guide! Her ghost stories were interesting, factually based, and hair raisingly creepy! She had a lovely cadence for storytelling and was obviously dedicated to her craft. I attended the tour solo as my traveling companion wasn’t up for the 10:00pm start time. I felt comfortable, welcome, and safe throughout the duration of the tour. I also brought my small dog Roxy who was treated like a star guest by our guide and fellow tour guests. I will definitely recommend this tour guide and company to anyone who visits Savannah and when I someday return will use this service again.

The tour was great you carried around on a trolley which is great you do get to get off at a few stops and go in. Not recommend if you have trouble going up and down steps (but you can stay on the trolley) The tour guides were in character it was nice, educational i liked it.****** Keep in mind No bathroom breaks during tour so try not to drink heavily before lol.

Went to Savannah October 16th for mine and a couple friends birthday, only stayed one night but there isn’t any other way my friends and I would have wanted to spend our night than doing a haunted Pub Crawl with an amazing tour guide. Erica was funny, knowledgeable and made the whole tour an equal balance of laughs and scares. 10/10 would recommend.

I specifically booked this tour with a proposal in mind. I called and spoke with a manager who had the guide that would be giving the tour (Lane) contact me. I asked her if she had any great ideas for a special place for the proposal. She told me about 2/3 of the way through that there would be a perfect place at a location and that she would give the group a cue to all look at the property and that would be my chance! Her husband Sean was in on it too! He got in a great spot to video the proposal for me and they were so awesome about helping me out, I just want them to know I appreciate them! It was a success and they sent me the video and pictures. Even other people in the group had seen me pull the ring out and was waiting to taking pictures too! It was a great time and the tour was awesome and I highly recommend Lane, she was great!

Our Savannah ghost tour was fun (and not scary)! Our ghost tour guide was great! She shared lots of stories about the lives of Savannah's dearly departed. Her costume was true to the historical period and her delivery was very theatrical. Great fun!

Which is honestly one if the better walking ghost tours. So many pros and cons it seems but I want one that I may get spooked or is just the creepiness if it so to speak

The experience totally depends on the guide you get. Our guide was very animated and interactive, and he tried to keep things spooky. I’m not sure any of them can really deliver a true haunting experience, but it would be fun if they could

Hello, I am wondering what the differences are between 'Beyond Good and Evil' and 'Dead of Night'. Dead of Night is listed as adults only, so I'm assuming it's more creepy. Is there anything else that is different?

While both tours are adults only tours, the Beyond Good and Evil Tour tends to be a little more laid back - cracking jokes, having a good laugh while touring the haunted locations here in Savannah. The Dead of Night Tour, since it covers topics which are a little 'darker' tends to have a spookier feel to it. If you have any other questions, just give us a call at 888-859-5375. Thank you!
