We had a memorable lunch here in October. The southern cuisine was expertly displayed and delicious. While there are plenty of restaurants in Savannah, their reputation is beyond comparison! We will be sure to return on our next visit to this wonderfuly historic city.

Was passing by with my dog and saw heated outdoor seating, so I figured we'd give it a try for dinner (without even knowing it was the Olde Pink House). Started with the blackened oysters, which were delicious. I could have eaten 4 more orders....More

Make reservations well in advance for this amazing treat to yourself. Wait staff are all personable, charming and devoted to ensuring your experience is phenomenal. Yes, it's pricey, but they earn every cent! Deep fried lobster tails were amazing! No one in our party of...More

We were concerned that with there having been a fire last week that they would not be open, but they were and it was all that I remembered from a visit forty years ago as a girl scout.

I ask to go here for my bd every year. I love the atmosphere and food. I was sad to see that it caught on fire today. I hope they are back in business very soon!!

From the time your 8 pm open table reservation sits you down at exactly 8 pm in a parlor room with a fire place you know its going to be an experience. Ask for Kayla to serve you

Probably good for groups or large family gatherings. Loud environment with disappointing food. Service was excellent, but I would expect a memorable meal for the prices they charge.

We ate in the upstairs dining room, the furthest to the left of the staircase (there are two rooms). It had no more than 6 tables and was quiet and quite intimate. We loved it!

Once you know, please share! This is too much of a major landmark for them not to have a solution. Food purveyors would certainly not make deliveries using the front steps. There is no doubt a service entrance at street... More

Which would you recommend for a romantic anniversary dinner?

hello- absolutely elizabeth's - I think it's the nicest in savannah. Romantic mansion - yet an amazing menu and great service. next - perhaps gottliebs. Go get 'em!

Don't waste your time trying to get in touch with this establishment, I contacted them to inquire about them being open for Thanksgiving and if so, could we get a reservation - they could not be bothered to give me a simple "yes" or "no" - disappointing but there are plenty of other restaurants that also sound nice - the people at the Olde Pink House were very gracious and welcome us to dine there on that holiday.

Need some help from Savannah experts! (13 Replies)
Hello all - I am planning a (surprise) weekend trip to Savannah for my boyfriend's birthday. I am staying at the Mansion on Forsyth Park and so far I've planned to go to Soho South Cafe for lunch and I'm trying to decide between IL Pasticcio and The Olde Pink House for his birthday dinner. I want a place where the food is good and the atmosphere is very romantic. Any suggestions on which would be better?? Also, I would appreciate suggestions for Sunday brunch! Thanks in advance.

You would probably find the Pink House more romantic. It seems to always get good reviews from visitors. Il Pasticcio is on a very busy corner and centrally located for the tourist traffic. Reviews are mixed. I think it would depend on whether or not you were familiar with Italian cuisine. I have heard that it was, at one time, vastly overpriced. Perhaps that has changed. For a Sunday brunch, check out what the Mansion has. It would be easier than having to walk or drive somewhere else.
