With the great reputation of this restaurant we were quite excited to dine there. While the food itself was quite good the service was spotty at best. We had ordered specific glasses of wine for each course but these never arrived until long after we had finished the course. When we pointed this out to the waiter, he became irritated... More

We had a reservation and were seated on a busy Saturday night as soon as we arrived, about 10 minutes ahead of our reservation time. Staff was friendly, atmosphere was pretty good in an interesting old house. The food was good, I had Fillet Mignon and the potatoes and asparagus were awesome, the steak just ok, lacked any pizzazz, and... More

This review is for the house, not the restaurant ... The house has an interesting history. Mr. Habersham Jr., who made his money in the cotton business, built his house from the red bricks and covered them with white stucco. The red color from the bricks was turning the white color pink. The private house was a bank at one... More

Even though we did not eat there, we were welcomed in to tour the historic home. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a beautiful old home and I would love to go back and have a meal.

This is definitely a "must do" restaurant while in Savannah. The history, alone, is humbling. The ambiance is wonderful and charming. The dining experience was upscale and refine. The wait staff was stellar. We've never experienced a more courteous and friendly staff. The food was WONDERFUL. The honey infused biscuits served before dinner are "to die" for. The pork loin... My husband and I went here for lunch and dinner, it was THAT good. The ambiance downstairs in the evening with candlelight and music was so romantic, and then upstairs the following day for lunch was bright and airy and gave such a rich sense of history. We ordered the fried green tomato with bacon and sweetcorn as an appetizer... More

We dined here during a short stay in Savannah and had a great meal. Make sure and order the BLT salad...it's amazing. The restaurant has 11 different rooms but the neatest by far is the old bank vault in the basement. It's a table for two and very romantic since you can close the door and it becomes a very... More

TJ was our server, and he was so friendly, so knowledgeable, very attentive ( but not overbearing ) TJ recommended we try the house specialty which was a crab cake stuffed flounder...WOW, I'm so glad I took his advice. My husband had the pork tenderloin and said he never had pork melt in his mouth before.
