Love the tour. Wonderful indept history. Daniel was very knowledgeable the iPad with actual photos of the way it looked then was a nice feature. If you like knowing the history of things this is the tour. The next day we were able to navigate our way around the city with no problem.

My husband and I just finished the Walking Foody Tour and we are beyond disappointed. Our tour guide, Ralph, was very nice, but for the amount of money we spent it was not worth it at all. We left hungry and had to purchase lunch right after. I would not consider a small cup of pulled pork, a small clam... More

I thought the foody tour was wonderful. The restaurant we went to was the Whistle stop, Lady & sons (Paula Dean), Jimmy Harris, Tubby's, and the River street sweets. All of them were very polite and when we arrived they were prepared to seat us and have the food ready to serve us. And they were all generous in their... More

Hubby and I took the walking foody tour during our four day visit to Savannah, it was amazing how much knowledge Ralph had in regards to the city. The downside was the food, the portions were small, the food not so good. From what I can remember, we went to Angels BBQ which was served in a small dish, it... More

We chose this tour to have something a little different to do while in Savannah for several days and it was wonderful. Ralph met us in the historic district and took us to a variety of locations where we ate our way through the history and culinary features of Savannah. We started with Angels BBQ (which I don't think you'd... More

This walking foody tour is sold as "Eat your way through Savannah's Historic District on this 2-hour walking tour. ... dipping sauces, Georgia Peach tea, local honey, and handmade gourmet chocolates". The Georgia Peach tea was the highlight of this tour. We stood in "ANGELS BBQ" with a plastic cup and a fork referred to the "best BBQ in Savannah.... More

Oh my goodness! Do this tour. You will not only get some interesting facts along the way, but samples of some great food and culture along the way. Ralph was wonderful, introducing us to Angels BBQ, Leopold's Ice Cream and Lady and Sons, just to mention a few. Everything was so much fun. What a great way to experience Savannah.... More

We spent a wonderful few hours on a walking tour of the local food places and eateries. Our guide Stew was very knowledgeable about the history and also the food we tried. There wasn't a bad stop on the tour, but the educational side of it was amazing. We learned so much about the history of the area as well... More

While visiting Savannah, GA this past weekend, we went on a walking Foody Tour. What a fantastic way to spend 2-3 hours!! Not only did our host, Ralph, present us with many historical facts, he introduced us to some of the best eats in Savannah! Went to Angel's BBQ (the very BEST we have ever had), and would have never... More

As my first foody tour, this was by far one of the most fun and interesting tours I've ever been on. While samplers from the restaurants were great, I also enjoyed venturing into the honey shop (can't remember the name), Lowcountry Gourmet foods (vinegar and olive oils from around the world), and Spice & Tea Exchange. I probably wouldn't have... More
