Fantastic Acting and a Captivating Experience

The Savannah Underground is a fantastic experience.

The actors are fantastic. From the moment the show began, I was captivated.

There are plenty of opportunities to join in the show via audience interaction and the lead actor does a great job of keeping all the participants involved.

The monsters are scary but it's a happy balance of being creepy without feeling threatening.

The sets were well done and help to further entrench you into the experience.

Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful.

This is a very unique experience and I highly recommend it to locals and visitors alike.

Horror+History+Theatre=Amazing

My trip to the Savannah Underground was outstanding! The use of interactive theatre to tell macabre stories of Savannah’s dark past was a unique twist on your typical “haunted” experience. The concept was extremely clever, well acted, and the immersive element kept me highly engaged throughout. Plus the venue itself was perfectly spooky and helped set the mood. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants an exciting, fresh, and unique scary experience. There are a million ghost tours (of varying quality) in Savannah but only one group like this. Support live theatre and visit The Savannah Underground.

Sorry for not reviewing this sooner but me and my boyfriend came in October of last year. My only advice would be take the bus tour or know where you’re going because it’s a little hard to find. The owner explained that’s part of what makes it scary. We both LOVED this. It’s not your typical jump scare thing, it’s more like after you get home and start wondering what’s that noise is at 12am thing. But it still gives you the creeps and is very creative. For people that haven’t been it’s like a live interaction play of old Southern and Geechee folklore. So worth the money. And the owner was great he came out to let us know we where in the right place and again to tell us we could wait inside for our uber. We might even go to Savannah just to do this again but with the bus tour.

Spooky Immersive Experience

My teenage daughter and I had a great time. It was a rainy evening. The only problem with that was that the sides of the trolley were down so you couldn’t really see out. He was telling stories while we were driving past the buildings that he was talking about amd we couldn’t see them through the plastic. A clear night would be better but we were there and it was raining and it was still fun. We had a very vibrant ghost storyteller. Our trolley driver was also very friendly and had some stories to tell. It was the immersive part at the second half that made the trip. They brought the stories to life. My daughter and I were spooked but it was mild (but dramatic-not for young) spooky entertainment. Like a haunted house feeling. It was an immersive haunted performance. We really enjoyed it. We’re still laughing about it. My 17-year-old thought it was fun.

What a production my husband and I enjoyed. You can tell they out alot of time and effort into it. Be prepared for several 20 something to act a fool giggle laugh and talk during a performance of art, but thier brains are under developed and they know it all so give them a shh and a death stare amd that pipes them right down. We appreciated the performance and the actors give 100%

Absolutely Incredible

This was an amazing show! We were visiting Savannah for the day and always love supporting local theater. All the actors, even before the performance, were absolutely incredible. My party and I were absolutely taken aback at the quality of acting, props, lights, and sounds. We didn't take advantage of the tour, but the show itself was great. I highly recommend!

Awesome experience

We live near Savannah and are always looking for new and exciting things to do. A friend invited me to take this tour and let me tell you it did not disappoint. There was great stories based on history, all scary! The story teller did an amazing job keeping me interested and had the group engage in the story. Very well put together! We will be going for different stories as they come. Well worth the money (wasn't much) and time!

Super Entertaining and Scary!

I love the immense history of Savannah, and this is such a unique and wonderfully creative place that brings it to life in a live theater experience. The actors are superb, and the storytelling throughout the performance keeps you engaged and immersed in the scenes.

The Boo Hag is terrifying, and the possessed girl is so believable that when you’re dousing her with (provided) holy water, you really mean it!

Go check this place out! Great entertainment in the most authentic Savannah tradition!

Don’t waste your money. This is not an interactive ghost tour this is a long performance with way too much monologue. Felt like a captive audience. The trolly with the description of history was well done but the show after was a waste of time. Very disappointing.

This is a "must see" and "experience" attraction. The stories come to life and you get to be a part of it. The actors were amazing, the location and building is off the beaten path and makes it a little creepy, and the interaction with the audience is great! Loved every minute of it.
