So many talents live in Savannah and attend SCAD. All over the city you will find where SCAD fingerprints are. So much of the modern artwork seen around is done by the designers and creators at SCAD. The southern charm mixed with the art SCAD students bring from painting, fashion, graphics, and theatre is what makes Savannah so great!

Come and see a cornucopia of wonderful art woven into the fabric of our history. Everything SCAD does in this city is exemplary and makes these former Yankees , "born and raised in New England, and now, Southern by the grace of God."

I didn't go in, but this very nice college is right in the heart of Savannah. You will most likely walk right past when walking around the city.

Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) is unique with a campus that is spread out in 67 buildings in the Historic District. Working closely with the city, SCAD administration has worked hard to select, purchase and renovate all of these buildings to the exact standards of historical preservation. It is surprising to be walking along the streets in the... More

This was one of our top places visited during our trip to Savannah! We just happened upon it, but we recommend you go there for all is artistic from the paint used on the walls to the tree on which prospective students have written the reason for which they hope to be accepted (very moving!). It is a living museum... More

Saw a couple amazing shows in the gallery and was blown away, especially the Jacob Lawrence print show. Building was beautiful and student staff friendly.

The campus is spread out through the city. We went when school was on break so it was less crowded. There are so beautiful buildings that are a part of the campus

This is an exhibit / museum that is part of the Savannah GA College of Art and Design, known as SCAD. The exhibits change quarterly on a staggered basis and include the most innovative, creative, clever and provocative contemporary art. The current exhibits included Dakota Jackson contemporary designed furniture and a custom desk for Beatle John Lennon is on display.... More

Loved the way Savannah College of Art and Design worked to solve real world issues - like how to preserve and revitalize some of the best buildings in an old city.

You can feel the artsy vibe of this school. The coolest part is the store next door. The items are pricey but the fact that it was done by students and alumni really authenticate the talent harnessed by this school. It is a nice spot to browse around and appreciate artistic ability.
