I highly recommend this way to see Savannah to people of all ages. Savannah Bike Tours has a bike to accommodate any person of any age or skill! Steve, our fabulous guide, made it a wonderful ride through the history of a beautiful city. This is so superior to a bus, trolley, or walking tour; I can’t emphasize that enough. We were able to cover a lot of ground in a couple of hours and made many stops at places of interest with full and fun background explanations of each. I am 70 and had not been on a bike in years, so I opted for the trike and loved it! I can ride a regular bike, but had a blast on my blue trike!! The best of Savannah is all around the city and the best way to see it is on the seat of a bike with a knowledgeable person showing you the way. You will find both in spades at Savannah Bike Tours! Don’t miss this tour. I suggest doing it first in your visit to Savannah. I am sure all of their guides are wonderful, but Steve made it so very special for both me and all 8 of my friends! It was one of the highlights of my trip to Savannah.

Perfect way to tour the historical district. It’s easier than walking and glides easily where trolleys can’t go.

Fun. Leisurely. Informative. Our first day in Savannah, after walking around the historical district for a couple hours, getting sore, and not seeing as much as we wanted we were able to book spots for a bike tour that afternoon.

Our guide Steve was the best, sharing his love of Savannah with accurate facts about the history, interactive questions, and recommendations based on what we were wanting to enjoy on our trip.

The ride was flat with many stops to enjoy the sights and take essential “I visited Savannah” pictures. It allowed us to experience the entire Historical District from at the perfect speed and comfort. Can’t beat the view from a bike!

One of our favorite activities while visiting Savannah. We booked this tour the afternoon of our arrival and it was a perfect way to get acquainted with the historic district. Michael was our guide and he was knowledgeable and shared a lot of wonderful tidbits of information about the city. We did tons of walking during our stay in Savannah and looking back, biking around is a great way to relieve some of the stress on your feet. Don’t hesitate to book the 2 hour tour… lots of fun being on a bike while learning about the city!

We had previously done a walking tour of Savannah and thought this would be a different way to see the city. We covered over 3 miles and got to see some places of interest that aren’t on the typical tour. Our guide gave us some tips on places to eat. The bikes are big beach cruisers which take a bit of getting used to, but everyone managed.

What an amazing time we had! Will is an excellent guide, being enthusiastic, knowledgeable, passionate, safety-conscious, and witty! Since both of us are near 70, I was a bit concerned about keeping up. But it was a relaxed, easy ride about this beautiful city. We learned so much about the history, architecture, society, and dining in this wonderful place. It was the greatest way to see the artistic details as we pedaled about. So, so much better than driving by. I learned so much more about Savannah in these two hours than I had in my previous two day visit and much research. Just do this!

I try to do a bike tour in every city I visit. It's an easy way to see many things in a short period of time; it's quicker than trying to do it all on foot. This tour was easy-going with plenty of stops to see the main historical highlights.

We learned a lot and enjoyed it even though the weather was hot in August. Great utilization of shady areas to keep people cool. The bike seats are like family room chairs -- comfortable.

This tour is such a great way to see Savannah! I did it for a second time - first was with friends, second was with my husband - and enjoyed it just as much. It’s a flat, easy ride, and our tour guide, Steve, had so much great Savannah history to share! Highly recommend.
