Good for a walk!

Great place for a walk and lots of places to stop for a drink or 2 or 3. Has your typical tourist shops with t-shirts and shot glasses. There are a many places to eat and drink.

What an awesome place to visit!!! On our first trip to Savannah, we stayed in a hotel on the Riverfront. What a great choice. There are so many shops and restaurants to check out. And, to walk by the river, or be having dinner in one of the restaurants and watch the huge ships go by was something to see.... More

The ambience along the river plaza is great. There are great places to eat or grab a beer that you can take with you as you walk around. Great little shops. Make sure to stop at the Nut Shop. There is a small outdoor market on the south end. Definitely a "must do" and worth at least 2 hours.

Lots of fun shops as you stroll by the river. A few Pokegyms and Pokestops. Enjoyed the views of the boats on the river also.

It's hard to say enough about the riverfront area of Savannah. A fabulous mix of history, shopping and incredible food. There is something for everybody here and as the day turns to evening smooth jazz and soulful blues drift out onto the street to fill the night air and entice the passers-by.

We enjoyed visiting all the historic destinations, attractions and parks in Savannah. We toured by horse & buggy, bicycle and by tram. And we did LOTS of walking which Savannah is conveniently laid out for doing. We are looking forward to another visit to Savannah, Georgia!

Lots of souvenir shops and places that serve food. For anyone that has difficulty walking this is not the place for you.

Very dark and dreary with quite a few chintzy souvenir shop. It really is not a place I would care to visit again. They really need better lighting and more of a police presence as theres lots of people, lots of traffic and narrow sidewalks.
