It's a big tourist area. Assuming you go in with your eyes open, you'll get what you expect. A number of restaurants and bars, along with shops etc.. Everything you'd expect in a tourist trap. We hit a few of the bars, and did the...More

Nice to walk around but shops were mostly touristy. Some small artist shops. Wish there were more of old Savannah there.

If you take the Old Savannah Trolley Tour, plan time to get off on this stop and visit the City Market. It's a great place to stop for a drink, get a bite to eat, endulge in a sweet treat, or browse through the shops.

I like walking around just to see the all the different people, I love the atmosphere. Most of the restaurants are local with two being chains. They usually have a performer out in the square.

I didn’t see the big deal with City Market at all. Instead I recommend Nourish and The Spice and Tea Exchange on Broughton. To eat I recommend River Street.

Hello..No problem finding some excellent restaurants for Holiday Turkey Dinner. If you go on the website of Old Town Trolley, you can find out when open and the times.

The Pirates House has a good menu if you don't mind being away from the hub of activity found on River Street and City Market areas.
