Nice spot

Nice spot to walk around or just hang out. Quaint shops, art galleries and places to eat and drink. We went during the day, so not sure how it is at night.

This place is where you want to stop by while in Savannah. They have live music on the weekends and the shops to visit are the best. The Scottish Pub and candy store are two of the best.

The City Market has a lot of boutique galleries run by the artist themselves. When we buy art while traveling it always makes it special to meet and talk with the artist. We bought four paintings which are excellent watercolor signed and numbered prints.

We visited this spot twice just to see what the difference was between the day and night time. During the night it was more of a party vibe with bands playing and people dancing in the streets, the daytime was still happening but not as crowded. The shops closed at 8:30 which we thought was early for a square with... More

I visit Savannah at least once a year and enjoy City Market more so that the shopping district or the waterfront district. Always within walking distance from a hotel downtown, you will find musicians playing live somewhere, new / old artists that you will enjoy meeting and looking at their work, new stores and old stores - make a perfume... This was a stop on the trolley route. It was nice to walk the two blocks that were closed off to traffic with two young children. Many restaurants and gift shops. It was definitely designed with tourists in mind. It is also a nice place to find a seat and listen to a live local band or just to people... More

We loved it down here! Spent a beautiful Saturday afternoon drinking beers, listening to a great live band, and people watching. It's a great place to bring your kids and well-behaved dogs, too! Some cute shops around as well.

Parades of young women on bachelorette parties circles the square. The sounds of laughter - bands playing on the balcony of a local pub..... flowers....beer - dessert places and spirit. This is a great place to end an evening or spend a Saturday afternoon after the long walk around the various squares you have the chance to visit. Touristy sure... More
