There is such an enormous amount of history in this great city and I'm still quoting Dan two weeks later! He providing a great mix of architecture, history and cultural elements along the tour. Not too often do you also hear about African American influence before and during the civil war. I think this is a must walking tour while... More

Savannah Dan was a delight. Visiting from Hawaii and with only a day in Savannah, we were looking for the entire Southern experience and found that with Savannah Dan. Beginning with his timely appearance, seersucker suit, Georgia accent, good manners, knowledge and pride in Savannah history, and great humor, Savannah Dan was the best way to learn about Savannah and... It was our first time in Savannah and we wanted a historical overview of the city. Based on other reviews (and a reasonable price of $15 per person) we chose Savannah Dan and I'm so glad we did. Not only is he informative, but he presents information in an engaging and entertaining way that makes you eager for what interesting... More

Savannah Dan was the perfect introduction to Savannah - make sure you join him your first morning there. He is gracious, knowledgeable, funny and conveys his genuine love for this wonderful city. I can't think of a walking tour we have enjoyed more!

Second time we did the tour, this time we brought our college age kids. This will be the best $15 you could spend in Savannah. The tour is about 2 hours long, an easy walk. Savannah Dan brings not only the history and culture of Savannah to life, but does so in a terrific southern character style with loads of... More

Savannah Dan lives up to his billing 100%! The title of this review says it all. Dan brought the city to life with his mixture of humorous anecdotes and historical facts. His warm personality engaged the whole group as he brought us through the city. Two things stand out from the experience. First, Dan was open to taking questions throughout... More

My son & I throughly enjoyed our walking tour wih Savannah, a true Southern gentleman. When I first saw his picture in his straw hat & pin-strip suit, I knew he would be a good fit for us. We had taken a few tours through the streets of Savannah and some of the historic homes, Savannah Dan was hands down... More

A very knowledgeable and humourous guide, Savannah Dan made the history of the South come alive. Sure Savannah as a city helped, but it was Dan himself that made our day! Thanks very much.

The tour was great. I went with my son who is college and he loved it. Savannah Dan is very animated and tells the history of Savannah with such an interesting twist. He is a great story teller and never bores. He also gave us some great suggestions for lunch, which was fabulous! Our tour consisted of mainly the park... More
