- blueXjelloDahlonega, Georgia648 contributionsSugar WonderlandWhat a fun classic stop! The treats are delicious. Fresh taffy and free samples offered. They have all the sugars... From the old fashioned candies to gummies, chocolates and all the newest candy additions. This place will be able to cure your sweet tooth without a doubt. Smells amazing. Love this place!Visited November 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten November 13, 2023
- Deborah RSmyrna, Tennessee54 contributionsPricey but so decadent. We walked out with almost 80 dollars worth of candy. Come with the plan to spend your dough, but the selections are so good. You can get free samples of some items to make sure you like it enough to buy. The candy apples are beautiful. So.e some candies such as hot Tomales are way overpriced, especially since they are not homemade, and you can get them at the dollar tree for $1.25. Still a fun experience though.Visited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 27, 2024
- TheMadDawgHudson, Florida550 contributionsSmells so sweetFriendly and quick to assist staff. So many choices and had free samples. Everything looked so good. We got several candy apples. Only down side is they really charge a lot for their product. They would move so much more inventory with a slight sale.Visited September 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 3, 2024

We visited this store and enjoyed browsing the many different sweets. We purchased a bag of the peanut brittle for a friend. Regretfully it melted in our car while doing some additional shopping.
When we returned home (out of state), I ordered on line and they added their so-called “warm weather packaging” fee which substantially added to the shipping charges.
When it arrived, it was a regular cardboard box... no so-called “warm weather packaging.”
Beware if you order from them and they attempt to add this deceptive charge!
A shameful company to ripoff customers like this... we’ve bought our last Savannah Candy Kitchen product.

I placed an order with Savannah Candy Kitchen on December 6, 2021. On December 10, I received an e-mail from UPS confirming my gift basket was delivered. After taking a close look at the address it was delivered, I noticed it was not delivered to the intended recipient, but back to the warehouse in Savannah, Georgia. I contacted customer service and spoke with a lady named Erica who told me she would call me back later that night to inform me what occurred. Erica did not call back.
On December 11, 2021 I called customer service again and spoke with another lady who told me she would look into this and call me back. She did not call back.
On December 16, 2021 I called customer service for a 3rd time and spoke with Erica again. Erica informed me UPS was unable to make the delivery because the address was incorrect. I confirmed the address is valid to which she advised she would speak to her supervisor. I requested a refund or for the package to be expedited back to the recipient prior to Christmas.
Erica advised me her supervisor told her there was nothing that could be done. I asked Erica if I could speak to the supervisor to which she responded this was not possible and for me to contact customer service the following day and speak with Christina. Her current supervisor working that night was Chataque. Erica stated there would be no refund and that I would have to place another order and resubmit payment. Again, this mailing address was verified and valid.
I sent an e-mail to customer service after this call requesting to speak with a supervisor. Chataque called me several minutes later and did apologize for the confusion. She stated UPS made the error and must not have seen the apartment number on the shipment request. She told me she would contact me the following date, December, 17.
I have not received a call, refund, or any confirmation the package has been resent for delivery. I have no choice other than to dispute my charge with my credit card company.
I have been a long time customer of Savannah Candy Kitchen but will never utilize this company again. This is by far the worst customer service I have experienced. I just wanted to share my experience with everyone to include the details so nobody has to experience what I have.

We stopped here to try the pralines and the samples we were given were delicious. Sugar and Pecans- what's not to like? Extremely crowded and a bit hard to get the attention of a sales person. What I didn't like was the candies they made there were not priced. When I asked, I guess it made sense. When I asked about a single praline I was quoted $3-4 each and when I asked about a pound, it was $24.95 per pound. I expected pricey, but not that pricey. We settled for the gelato instead, which was also pricey, but very good.

You can book a tour from their main website for a nominal fee. It's worth it! You get to sample your way through the store trying popcorn, pralines, taffy, and ice cream. They tell you all of the fun facts about how many ingredients they go through in a week.
The old taffy machine is really cool, and the store layout is really attractive. Christina, the GM was our tour person, and she was great. The staff was friendly and helpful, in a really busy tourist area.
The tour kept our group of teens engaged and fed...both of which are difficult! We'll be back!

This is a place you have to visit, take some pictures at, and buy pralines at, or any other sweet treat made here. I bought 3 small Coke glass bottles for $1.90/each and they were so cute, I kept them as souvenirs. The store at the City Market is slightly more expensive. Overall, high quality and super delicious!!

This was a nice candy/icecream shop.Staff is Super kind. Extremely dog friendly; ALL workers love dogs and say that they have to pet them. This shop is really unique, because you can actually watch them make some candy. They have SO many varieties of candies (especially chocolate) I totally recommend their icecream! Great place!!!! I would totally recommend for you to go! I would 100% go again! LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!

Just did some major damage in this place and I’m pregnant and want ALLLLLL the goods! So far everything I’ve tried it quite tasty. My only complaint is that it was pretty congested and the nice lady who had just handled my food also handled my credit card with no change in gloves... watched this happen with the woman in front of me as well

As we were walking through the City Market, the aroma of Savannah Candy Kitchen hit us and we had to go in. It's a large store with lots of yummy treats: candy, popcorn and ice cream.
We decided to come back at the end of our visit to City Market to buy some goodies for ourselves and to take home.
We were not disappointed. My favorite candy there was the gophers (turtle) with it's caramel, chocolate and pecans.
I bought chocolate covered nuts, pecan brittle , pralines and chocolate caramel corn. All delicious!! Don't miss this stop if you have a sweet tooth!

Ice cream at 9 am? Absolutely! We went to the Riverwalk in the morning to avoid the crowds and our kids were thrilled to get a treat so early. Reasonable prices with classics like pralines & tons of dipped apples to turtles and more. You will find something for everyone!

I stop here for Gophers. They are delicious caramel candy with pecans and chocolate. They are also known as caramel turtles. The store often has specials like buy 1 lb. and get 1/2 lb. free. A wonderful indulgent treat!

I saw one comment about the prices and they seemed expensive. Do they give out samples of all the sweets there or just the taffy? Cuz if they give out ones of all the stuff then that would make up for the expensive price cuz u know if u like the things before u buy them.
Also, do you guys know if that place is near Aleksandra Gift Shop, Simply Savannah, Savannah Clothing Company, Cinnamon Bear Country Stores or City Market. Those all showed up on trip advisor as shops in savannah but are they all close buy so you can walk to all of them or drive a short distance?
Thanks for your time:))))
