Located in the alley behind the Ordinary Pub is this gem is a bar. Down the stair to Craft Cocktail Heaven! Lexie was a charming and knowledgeable bartender. Amazing choice of cocktails and craft liquors. Don’t miss it

The Alley Cat has a large cocktail menu as well as a large list of spirits. It is tucked into an alley speakeasy style. You go downstairs into a very inviting bar. We opted to sit at the bar and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with our personable bartender Daniel and watching him do his work. My wife and I agreed that her Tom Collins was the best we have tasted. I had a rye served with an ice cube that had to be an inch and a half cubed. We recommend you stop in for a drink. Ours were excellent.

Really nice drinks. Nice atmosphere. They also have really cool menus that are like newspapers. Definitely a hidden gem in downtown Savannah.

If you enjoy making and/or consuming cocktails and are in Savannah, this is the place you must visit. The cocktail, wine and beer options listed in their unique menu (a newspaper format) are seemingly endless, although I join in the chorus that urges you to try the cocktails rather than the others because the folks that will prepare your drink know precisely how to do it and have wonderful ingredients at their disposal. In our case, after first having dinner nearby at Jazz'd Tapas (the ACL doesn't serve food and prefers that you not bring any in with you), we ordered a couple of beverages apiece, a Phil Collins and an Esmerelda for her and a Sazerac and an ACL 1806 Old Fashioned for me. She preferred her second to her first and both of mine were excellent. Given all the options available, we look forward to returning with friends. Our check came to $46, plus tip. Our server was delightful and extremely helpful in answering our questions about ingredients and preparation, as were the bartenders themselves. The ACL is located downstairs in a building where the entrance is on West Broughton Lane (not street), which is actually an alley (ergo, the name). And the ambiance is quite soothing, despite the noise generated by the patrons. Again, if you enjoy a cocktail now and then, by all means give this place a try.

Decided to drop by this place as per rec from our food tour guide. The entrance is in an alleyway just on the western end of the Historical District. Would never have probably gone as I am mostly a beer and wine person. But what the heck. Supposedly they can mix anything James was at the bar mixing and it was fun to see him go!! Wow!! He mixed me a Martinez, a gin concoction of sorts, which knocked my socks off!! I was very impressed. I wanted to stay and have another whatever James would have mixed me but alas my wife had the last say! If you like mixed drinks go check this place out!!

I have no other word to offer other than AWESOME! Great mixologists, yes, mixologists, not bartenders. If you want a rum and coke or a vodka and soda, please don't come here. Need a Budweiser again, please move on down the street. This is a true temple of great cocktails! I have never had a bad cocktail here. If you don't see anything on the menu that floats your boat, just tell the guys behind the bar what you like flavor wise in a cocktail and turn them loose to create something special for you! Again, FIVE stars, can't say enough good about this great spot!

This place has by far the largest selection of alcohol I have ever seen. It's a great place on a warm day when you need a little break from the temps or just need a drink done really well. The staff was friendly, the drinks were very good. I am eager to visit again.

This place really is in an alley in the 200 block of W Broughton St. so it really is a destination place. I don't mind that a bit because I have a better chance to get a seat at the bar and watch the bartenders create their interesting cocktails. Since it is a cocktail place, be prepared to wait a bit. If you are looking for a Bud bar to meet up with friends and grab a quick one, this place is not for you. If you are with friends, they have nice, booths with low lighting. The place is beautiful, the drinks are delicious, and the staff is very friendly. Love it.

We had a hard time finding this place, but it was worth it. Door in alley, down stairs and open the door to a really cool and upscale bar with romantic lighting and drinks made from the heart. Even the drink menu was beyond awesome. Reads like a mini magazine.
