My boyfriend and I went on the Foody Tour on Saturday, 8/6/16. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect as far as how much food we would get but all of the reviews said you would get full. That's an understatement! We visited 5 different places. Paula Dean's, Lady and son's restaurant. There, they give you a small bowl, you... More

Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We stopped at 5 restaurants: Lady and Sons-we gave it a 5, Tubby's - we gave it a 3, Pirates House we gave it a 3, Sisters we gave it a 2, and The River Street Sweet Shop got a 4! At a few of the locations we felt as if we... More

Gary was our driver and very pleasant and knowledgeable. You see more with this tour plus eat your way through it! Would definetly recommend. The only downside is our first stop at Paula deeds ,Lady & sons, they give you a stryfoam cup and have you pick an item off the buffet. Then you sit on waiting benches to eat... More

We actually missed the bus. My sister called Gary and he came back for us. He handled the situation and a street parade with great charm and humor. He kept us well informed about all the restaurants we visited and a lot about the town itself. We visited 6 restaurants and we were so full at the end of the... More

Gary the tour guide was excellent. He provided so much history and humor and was so pleasant. Every restaurant stop had something delicious. My favorites were Sisters of the South and River Street Sweets. You'll definitely be full by the 5th stop. I would take this tour again the next time I visit Savannah.

This attraction met at the savannah visitor center. Gary Owens was our tour guide and really knew his stuff. He was pleasant, easy to talk to, and made my husband and I feel comfortable along the way. What I thought would be a crowded activity turned out to be a private tour for my husband and I, and it was... More

Just to set the record straight the meeting place for this tour isn’t in the visitor’s center but the parking lot beside it. The booking company could use a customer service refresher but once we found and boarded the bus our concerns vanished! We were informed that one scheduled stop was closed for renovations, but we’d get two items from... More

Our guide, Gary, was fabulous. During the entire tour we were treated to great facts of Savannah's history. We went to Paula Deen's, Johnny Harris BBQ, The Pirate House, and 3 other stops. You only get small samplings, but over the entire trip you get more than one full meal. Our group on the tour was a fun group and... More

Disappointing. Started out at Whistle Stop - an old train converted to a restaurant - a plate of fried green tomatoes was on the table for us when we got there - we split them among 4 people...that was all they gave us. Then onto Paul Deen's place - this was a joke. They handed us a large styrophome cup... More

So I surprised my husband with the Foody tour for his birthday Thursday 8/14/14. I will say before booking this tour I was hesitant on selecting this tour because mixed reviews about it. Well i chose to book the tour anyways. WE LOVED IT! Lets start with the tour guide and bus. The bus was very clean and cool. The... More
