This is a great place to see an entertaining show in a historical setting that has had people like Oscar Wilde, WC Fields, Barrymore, and many others grace its stage. I went with my mom and sister to see Legends Live On - what a fantastic show! There weren’t too many seats together to a Saturday show when we purchased tickets on Friday so I recommend checking out their schedule and getting tickets early. There are a lot of bars and restaurants in the area as well for pre or post show.

We had a wonderful time last night at the performance of A Christmas Tradition. Sadly we had to leave the show a few minutes early due to a prior obligation. We regret having had to leave, but loved every minute we did get to experience. We will always recommend attending a show at the Savannah Theatre to any friends who travel to Savannah because it is just so good and so wholesome. The staff are beyond friendly, and the way they treat US military is humbling.

We attended "Legends Live On" on 10/28/21 & it was an amazing show!! The theatre itself is breathtaking -- the architectural detail is intricate and mesmerizing, much like many other buildings in Savannah. The owners have done a fantastic job at keeping the historic feel of the original theatre, while also updating to include modern amenities. The performance was also very entertaining! I'm so glad we were in town during the "Legends Live On" show because it was a ton of fun, while also getting to experience the beautiful theatre. Would definitely go back the next time we are in town & highly recommend seeing a show at the Savannah Theatre!!

Just reopened yesterday after being closed for COVID for six months. The cabaret performance was excellent. They strictly enforced social distancing seating so it was only about 25% full but the cast did a great job. Besides some of the regulars who have been on staff for years, they were able to get some top performers back to the area while NYC or other venues they perform in were still closed.

We enjoyed an evening of great entertainment with great music and dancing. The Legends Live On show was full of fun and positive energy. We only wish we lived in Savannah in order to attend other performances and support this theatre

Folks I just had the most amazing night. My friend Jackie and I went to the Patsy Cline show at the Savannah Theater
And growing up on mostly country western music loved Patsy Cline songs. The lady that sang was almost like a reincarnation of her, I'd love to go again but will wait till next year as it has a limited engagement this year. But WOW!! The part where I cried was when her friend was saying how she heard the news of her death, which is the same way I did over a somber DJ on the radio in 63.

The Legends Live On show was a wonderful treat! The headliner group, Legacy, is made up of three very talented young men. The other performers in the show were a Broadway songstress, an acrobat and an amazing band. All hosted by a gentleman who was a great vocal talent himself. The music performed was mainly pre 1980s but there was a sampling of songs from later decades. It was an enjoyable evening and I highly recommend you see them.

If you are looking for a fun time in a historic setting, go to the Savannah Theatre and see “Legends Live On”. The singing was great, the music was lively and you can sing along with the performers. We are real Broadway snobs and honestly didn’t expect much. But boy were we proven wrong! I doubt there is a bad seat in the house, we sat up front and danced in our seats. Do yourself a favor and don’t miss “Legends Live On” with the group Legacy (and no, I’m not their mother)

It poured the 2 days we visited Savannah and chose this indoor activity for an evening out. We saw Sister Act and enjoyed it very much. It was the first night it opened; a few wardrobe malfunctions but other than that, a fun night. Most of the singing/acting was excellent. The Theater was pretty comfortable with restrooms uo and down stairs. They had drinks and snack for sale. We sat about 10 rows back on the aisle, paid 90 bucks for 2 tickets. Would recommend this theater to add some art and cultural diversity to your trip to Savannah!

Living in Savanah, Savannah Theatre has become our top attraction. We went to "Sister Act" last Sunday, the first cast production since Covid shut them down over a year ago. It was great and almost like a "family" reunion. I recommend anything this cast does and it is so good to be able to enjoy them again. If you are in Savannah make The Historic Savannah Theatre your number one priority.

How is the view from the front row? Are you looking up all the time and can you see everything that close?

I’m not sure what the view is from the front row. When I ordered the tickets over the phone, I asked that person where they would sit for the best view and they recommended 6 to 8 rows from the stage. I was pleased with their suggestion.
