My son discovered this place when he ran up the stairs and saw that it was actually an open and functioning office of the US customs service. Cool displays showing some of the items that they seized in Savannah along with pieces that have passed through the port over the last decades. Well worth a hike up the stairs to see the history of an important southern port.

Walked by the US Customs house a few times last weekend and really liked the architectural design. The columns at the front are very pretty and reminded me of buildings in Europe.

A major building in the downtown of the old historic district, impressive with the classic Greek-inspired architecture. The old South.

An impressive building on bay street facing the river in the distance. It was obviously built to show the importance of the job it did.

The Customs House is one of the oldest building in the city and a historical place to visit. This building brings to the downtown area and Riverstreet a must see in the city. Great time

This beautiful historic building's lobby is accessible to the public and contains a variety of historical and present day artifacts explaining the work of US customs. Made a nice 10 minute AC break while strolling the Historic district.

This attraction is located in downtown Charleston near the riverwalk and the city market. It was a Saturday night so we couldn't go inside but it was a nice view of the front and back from the outside.

It has some old historic pieces of things they have seized but there is really nothing to so or see. It is a working federal building it is old and has some character
