This property has plenty of parking so you can enjoy this beautiful old house which offers rooms of ship models exclaiming the seaport business of Savannah. Adults and school age children will enjoy seeing these intricate samples and the history of Savannah.

As far as a maritime museum is concerned the highlight was the building itself and its connection to the maritime history of the community. I enjoyed the model of the N.S. SAVANNAh and the replica of the ships bridge the most.

The staff was knowledgable and friendly, but there were not as many kid-friendly exhibits as we expected here. The ship models and history information were interesting, but more appropriate for teenagers and adults than young children.

So much to see in a small place. The displays are wonderful as is the art. Even the wood work in the building is fascinating. The garden is lovely too. Take a stroll outside.
