Factors Walk is a port filled with different shops, Restaurants, Pubs, and bars. It is a very nice walk lined with pebbled stones, hard to walk on but I did feel I was taken back in time. Certainly a must see

I lived in Savannah for several years, and this was one of my favorite places - any day of the week. I return as often as possible, and never miss this. It's beautiful along the river. The shops are interesting, the people are friendly and it just makes for a really nice day.

ctory, Hueys and River House Seafood. There's a nice wine tasting room called A Matter of Factor. Owner was very helpful and he had a great selection of local wines. Brought home a couple bottles. My favorite kinda souvenir! We also enjoyed The Peanut Shop. They had tons of samples and we can home with some tasty peanuts. Went in... More

In many ways this is the heart of the Savannah historic district. With cobblestone streets, iron bridges, and revamped old buildings mostly associated with shipping and the cotton industry in its heyday - the port was once the life blood of the city. It still is a major visual focal point for watching ships, browsing shops, having a cocktail, and... More

When visiting Savannah, Georgia, be sure to go to Factors Walk, along E River Street. We drove from E Bay Street down a narrow ramp to E River Street, then parked in a city lot between E River Street and the Savannah River. That parking location is really convenient, and costs $1 per hour. Look at your parking spot number... More

I go to Savannah about every 3 to 4 months & Factors Walk is my first stop. So many restaurants & shops, plus just strolling along looking at the waterfront.

This is what Savannah was all about. Cotton and the resulting need for slaves. Read historical markers. Look at the Cotton Exchange Building where the world wide price of cotton was made daily. While now a paved street of tourists, one time this was a dirt street of commerce. Cotton was grown on Tara but only because it could be... More
