Walked around today. Loved some of the stores. Was disappointed about some of the closed stores that have been closed for a while. Found some gems and found some cheesy stuff as well. Best store visited: Mud and Metal. Common Ground is an anchor store for the area - has not changed in over 11 years!

Hampden is a fun, funky, eclectic neighborhood full of unique boutiques & awesome restaurants. This area is a great place to experience the essence of Charm City. There are frequently free events (like Honfest in the Spring/Summer & an entire street of holiday lights in the Winter), but there's loads to do in Hampden any day of the week!

Here is a lovely, funky Baltimore neighborhood with all manners of shops and fun restaurants. It is extremely safe all hours and parking is reasonable. Go here for an afternoon of special shopping for stuff you won't find elsewhere and then a great dinner.

One entire street block where every home on both sides of the street, except one, is lit up with decorations that are lit, or move, or make noise. Look for the house that decorates with automobile hubcaps. Take the kids, park the car and walk up and down the street, one block and take in the Christmas spirit exhibited by... More

If it's December, you must, must, must see this block of decorated homes. During certain hours the street is blocked off so that visitors can easily and safely enjoy the delightful Christmas decorations. We learned that if a home is sold on this block it is a contractual obligation to join in the decorating festivities each Holiday season. It's a... More

we found a great place to park at 3333 Keswick Rd. which is right around the corner, while we had to pay, it was a bargain compared to driving around for an hour and trudging around too Kids loved it, and it made it soo much more enjoyable since they could really enjoy it!

The Elvis festival is here!!! That should be reason enough to love Hampden. Okay, every restaurant is fantastic! There are many over prices shopping that is worth finding parking. Funny cards, and novelties that you must have are in several shops. The best wine stores are in this area. An upscale adult toys store is around the corner. Original art... More
